The Mangaka stated Buggy was his favorite villain/one of his favorite characters at this point (back when the volume for this arc came out) so that can explain his focus on Buggy.
Also keep in mind he has a past with Shanks, so that would always make him relevant.

One thing youtubers do to avoid copyright infringement with One Piece reactions is by abbreviating the name of the show to OP because that can also stand for over powered and the copyright bots can assume that that is what it means
The next few episodes are filler episodes (a pretty horrendous filler arc, imo). I'd recommend checking which OP episodes are fillers and skipping them all together (the only exception would, perhaps, be the G8 arc), as they mess up the pacing of the story and don't add anything to it 🤷♀️
Only 300 more episodes before you get some explanation about Dragon! 😂

His hat mysteriously blew away leading him right to the execution platform and he protected luffy too. Then there's that massive storm again, also nami saying that the smell of the air changed or something. I think dragon has some kind of weather devil fruit which I think would be op af, perfect fruit for the man with his reputation

For some of the parts I suggest One Pace it's not completed yet but it's mostly done. It's essentially a fan project of one piece to make it follow the flow of the manga. So it'll help cut out a lot of filler.
