I do not like to comment on the GOAT debate but I must say something. The only reason Ronaldo was even compared to Messi was he was always chasing Messi and his goals per season. Messi matured into a play making scorer while Ronaldo has always relied on his powerful kick. Messi is the most well rounded footballer of his generation. He is Maradona 2.0. A dedicated family man with the same immense talent that Maradona had but without the moral weaknesses

Following that, he won the biggest prize in football, 'The World Cup'.
