Wow the scores were fierce this year! Thank you so much for putting this event on and giving us a much needed excuse to get outside and compete in the winter months. My shooting group and I look forward to this event every year. You will not see all of our submissions, but we are all out there every other weekend having fun! Big thanks to you and all of the admins, aaand the other competitors! P.S. I just had to go all sweaty try-hard on the bolt action category with the box mag Ruger, but if there is a vintage bolt action category... I plan on bringing the 1903a3 back out to challenge that Enfield win rate.
It was a pleasure to compete in your competition! Thanks for putting together this video! I helped push all the scout rifles into the CFC this time round.
You sir are an amazing shot. Your DIV-2 recovery from sitting to kneeling while remaining in the aim is what really impressed me. That sling was well fitted and I've never seen that sling discipline before. Well shot @OnTheScout
Lots of great entries! So grateful to you Riflechair and all the division leaders for putting this together every year. Looking forward to what Bloke has in store for us.
I agree. Have you ever considered applying for a division leader position? I would be happy to be a reference for you BUT video editing and data management skills would be needed.
Great video and great entries all the way around. First and foremost, thanks to Riflechair for inventing and hosting the competition for the last decade. Thanks as well to all the division leaders for their hard work to putting this thing together. I wish you (RC) extra rest as this competition changes hands. I look forward to competing for many years to come
Thank you Dan. Also thank you for advertising CFC on CGN and other outlets. I definitely recognize you for that and appreciate your valuable time. PS: Your videos always make me break out in laughter. Thank goodness people still have a sense of humour.
@Riflechair We need a designated target that's easy to obtain without the need of a printer. Such as an official NRA target with a number that can be easily purchased.
@@RickNethery purchased targets are allowed so long as you include a picture or film of your target with a tape measure or ruler showing it being 4" or 8" (depending on category)
@DMPinBC I searched high and low, Ebay, Amazon, NRA competition pages, and I couldn't find a target with a 4" center. I made an exactly 4" black dot and pasted it to a white backer board and provided an uncut and unedited picture in picture from both my shooting position and the target with a varied distance with a GPS. I gave it a good try, I've got no shame. My run although disqualified was completely honest. I also showed my home made target was exactly four inches. If someone could please provide me with a product number for a legal 4" target and a legal 8" target I would greatly appreciate it.
@@RickNethery Your run was good, that's no doubt. Unfortunately it's just the way the rules are written. I know I've seen people use those Shoot-N-C stickers before as they are exactly 8". I haven't looked for 4" circles before, but I assume they should be available from somewhere. If you get stuck next year, I'll print you a pile of targets and mail them out to you!
Second place in Division 5?!?! Woohoo! Thank you guys for putting this on. It’s a great time!
You shot an incredible stage. I've never seen someone shoot a Brown Bess like that - amazing.
@@Riflechair thank you very much!

A great job Richard and team! Always a highlight of the shooting year!

That vintage manual operated rifle division is great news.

@@Riflechair I know myself and being division leader is unfortynately not for me. Still, thank you for support.

Well done for editing all those videos together, must have been a mammoth task!
For one person yes but... This delivery team is pretty special.
Definitely need to get my butt in gear and submit a flintlock entry next year
Make it so Andre! Which musket are you thinking of fielding?
@@Riflechair I'd love to compete with my brown bess, but my Kibler colonial .54 is hard to beat.
Rick Nethery Division 6. Why did I get disqualified ?
Hand made targets are not permitted. This is described in the rules and discussed in the intro videos.
