We took the Twizy and G-Wiz on an off road adventure!

I decided in my infinite wisdom that it would be a good idea to off road my modified Renault Twizy and I asked Michael along in his modified G-Wiz to join in the adventure. Did we break them?!

As a person from the USA. I am SOOOOOO jealous of your twizy. USA really needs some micro electric cars for small errands and runs to work. I am SHOCKED they do not make more of these small EV's and they say they care about the environment. Guess ill just drive my v6 Frontier truck instead lol (19MPG)

In US You've got ELI ZERO and guys that cover smart fortwo as well and I believe with much less regulations that Europe.

some retailers have a outsider 240v socket by the main entrance they use for outdoor services , just plug ya car into that lol, the homeless abuse them all the time charging up their phones and batteruy banks lol

The Renault Twizy looks like it would be fun to drive. But I wonder what the crash test survival is on those mini-cars? Something for use like this in the USA would be a great little low speed or neighborhood ev. Where did you get the full enclosed door kits from? Are there versions that have a proper seal with the frame of the vehicle? When you were flying down the bumpy dirt road, the interior video footage shows a decent sized air gap opening up between the frame of the car and the door kit mounted to it. What do you do for heating and cooling in the Twizy? Would something like the Eco Flow Wave 2 be suitable in such a vehicle? It is a battery & solar-powered HVAC that is also transportable. Its output would be ideal for such a small space.

It's a 20Kwh battery in the G-Wiz

No issues with insurance, it just replaced lead acid batteries for lithium .
