Thanks so much Dr Pepple. Please advise if it is possible to thrive during the GP training if coming in directly, without any prior UK work experience. So many IMGs already working in the UK advise that it is better to work for a short while and gain some insight into the workings in the NHS before going into training. Do you agree?

I would have liked to know his thoughts on this too. Maybe it's not the subject of this particular video seeing as he has left the question unanswered.

Very informative video for doctors interested to join GP training. Practicing active recall from question banks is indeed good preparation for MSRA.

    Hello doctor,
I'm an IMG gave my MSRA this Jan and hoping to get a GP ST1 training post. This will be my first job in the NHS.
I have done an attachment in the UK. I have been applying for jobs since an year with no luck and despite knowing it would be a challenge to take up training as the first job I'm willing to take that risk and work for it.
What should I expect and prepare for the training post as I want to be ready for it.
Is it necessary to have an own vehicle before starting?
    Kindly please share some insights.
    Thank you so much.

There are many options to explore. I suppose you mean M.Sc. It also depends on your immigration status

    Hi,
I came across your youtube channel and I have had the idea of starting a podcast where I interview doctors and ask them questions about their career. I would love to have the opportunity to talk with you on a 30 minute podcast at any time which suits you! As a 16 year old aspiring medic, I feel talking with different doctors and sharing it on my channel would help me and many others watching on youtube (hopefully haha) gain an insight into medicine.
Please let me know if you are interested or have any questions at all!
    Kind regards
