Tbh it depends on your medical programme, I’ve heard some universities make their graduates do a year of internship as part of their medical degree in the final year.I should have specified that I’m referring to clinical rotations not counting as opposed to a proper internship year after you have done clinical rotations.

HIya! I honestly don't know the commercial/branded names, just the generic ones and it's been fine so far! When I prescribe, I prescribe the generic form like metformin most times as opposed to sukkarto which is brand of metformin here.

Would you think it would be even better for me to have master in science certificate it also makes the visa easier for me since it’s almost impossible for an Iraqi to get the tourist visa.

Hello Dr,so assuming you did a trust grade job for a year or two and you what to enter into a speciality program Can you apply straight to the speciality program or you need to apply for FY2 standalone program,work and get the certificate of completion for foundation year program before you can apply for ST OR CT program...
You apply straight to specialty training after doing your trust grade which usually lasts for a year. It's during trust grade you get the CREST certificate to apply for specialty training.

@@otengdarkwa3955 So once a week, for about 1 hour, you walk to the 'lecture hall' which is on hospital grounds and a fellow doctor or healthcare professional does some formal teaching/discusses cases you can learn from. You would usually return to the wards/work after attending teaching. They take attendance and you would usually need to attend 70% of teaching during that year to pass the foundation year BUT note this does not apply to people doing trust grade, only those on the foundation programme.

Hello! Thank you so much! You apply for the foundation programme first and then you do the SJT in December/January. You sit the SJT while your application is reviewed and you don’t get to know if you’ve been offered a place until a few weeks after SJT. I wrote SJT and Plab 2. I’ll look into making a video about that! 💕

No definite set period, that depends on your contract. Tends to be one year though :)

You apply straight to specialty training after doing your trust grade which usually lasts for a year. It's during trust grade you get the CREST certificate to apply for specialty training.

You go to school to teach or what ? Or you are rather being thought in class.As in you attend classes.Please how is it like?
@@otengdarkwa3955 So once a week, for about 1 hour, you walk to the 'lecture hall' which is on hospital grounds and a fellow doctor or healthcare professional does some formal teaching/discusses cases you can learn from. You would usually return to the wards/work after attending teaching. They take attendance and you would usually need to attend 70% of teaching during that year to pass the foundation year BUT note this does not apply to people doing trust grade, only those on the foundation programme.

I wanted to ask you about FY1, I red that there a SJT to write so that you will be able to apply for foundation programs, and that made me a little bit confused, since i thought that i could join the FY1 after passing PLAB 2. Should I write SJT even if i pass PLAB2? or can you make a video to how to get into FY1. Thank you again
Hello! Thank you so much! You apply for the foundation programme first and then you do the SJT in December/January. You sit the SJT while your application is reviewed and you don’t get to know if you’ve been offered a place until a few weeks after SJT. I wrote SJT and Plab 2. I’ll look into making a video about that! 💕
