Wow am really surprised how many sets of exams the nhs has created over the years , plab, ielts, this new exam , membership 3-4 parts , not sure if there is an exit exam and an already extended level of training with foundation core training speciality training . To me seems that it’s a way to get lower paid labor for many years thereby delaying the path to becoming a consultant , not to add all the expenses . Doctors in the nhs truly deserve a better pay . I left the nhs back in 2007 when they had a major screw up with a new system called MTAS. Great video by the way which would help anyone who wishes to start their career with the NHS . Best of luck !!
mam I have been watching your video since last year and you have actually inspired me a lot. I saw your mbbs story and boy you have motivated me a lot to study. Thank you, hope I'll become a doctor like you one day !
This is very informative video. Exactly what I needed. And congratulations for hitting the 40k milestone and more to come. Can u please make a video about the competitive specialties if you get the Time and space to do so. It would be helpful for many people like me who is looking to get into surgery but is worried about the competition and has the fear being not preferred in the interview because of being an Indian medical graduate. Academics and career aside. We need more vlogs 🎉 and do Hmu if u need a part time editor for some videos for awhile jus in case if u get too much on your plate.
I have been watching ur videos since last 8 months and u have inspired me a lot ...thanku so much ❤..I m in final year of my mbbs and ur videos is a big motivation for me ..
Thank you for this amazing video. 2 questions plz: 1) If i dont score well, will i still get a placement even if it's not of my choice? 2) Is this exam the same for all the specilliaties ?
As an img working in India (although i have my GMC License) will I be able to manage if I get into speciality training directly rather than working in the NHS first.? It’s been more than a year I haven’t landed a job, so I was thinking of getting my crest signed and applying for msra. Suggestions please 🙏🏻
Hello...I just had a doubt The round 2 intake for psychiatry..that's the February intake.. It's applicable for CT1/ ST1. Right? Or is it just for the higher speciality ( ST3 and above?) Kindly please guide me
I am a big fan of yours 💓💓💓 you are my inspiration 🤍 I recently got my GMC registration and start applying for jobs in the NHS. But it's not easy to get a junior doctor role atm. So, should I be preparing for MSRA exam or RCPSYCH?? Dunno where to start 😢
can you apply / do the MRSA exam during our FY2? or do we have to finish FY2 then apply and sit down for it (which would be a lot of time wasted maybe a whole year)
Did you find ur answer?. I just cleared my plab and now waiting for my GMC registration, I was also wondering if I can apply for MSRA in the meantime before my FY 2?
I have a doubt that do we require to sit in msra exam for speciality training after fy2 or we can directly sit for royal college exams to enter into speciality training
@@MrinaliniChandra-rc4oxNo, MSRA is a mandatory requirement for most core training programmes. Some do give extra points for collegiate exams (such as MSRA) for the portfolio section of your application.
