Dude: Wilson’s response acknowledging he’s not Steve Rogers TOTALLY fits with his character. The whole reason he didn’t want the shield in Falcon and Winter Soldier was bc living up to the standard set but Steve is impossible. Wilson is simply acknowledging this. Makes complete sense. Also, there hasn’t been a US President in the last century with a mustache. Having Ross be president with a mustache would be weird.

Exactly! Why would they show ppl full Red Hulk in a teaser? Or full action scenes in a teaser?? I think he forgot what a teaser is and an actual trailer. IMO, I don’t want to see too much in the trailer. Save all the real goodies for the actual movie

The National Cherry Blossom Festival is a spring celebration in Washington, D.C., commemorating the March 27, 1912, gift of Japanese cherry trees from Mayor Yukio Ozaki of Tokyo City to the city of Washington, D.C. Ozaki gave the trees to enhance the growing friendship between the United States and Japan and also celebrate the continued close relationship between the two nations.

I think the scene with him saying “you’re no Steve Rodgers” is Ross trying to talk him into taking super soldier serum and cap saying “you’re right I’m not” is him saying I’m gonna do this my own way which is fitting to his character
It's also meant to illustrate that Sam is his own man and isn't TRYING to be Steve. Ross is trying to demean Sam by saying he can't live up to Steve's legacy. Sam is saying that was never his intention
Maybe Tiamut Island will eventually become a shared territory between the US and Japan becoming San Fransokyo and we finally get a home location for a live action Big Hero 6 to join the MCU. Just a thought.

Two things though, yes that's DC look up our annual Cherry Blossom festival. We received tens of thousands of cherry blossom trees as a gift from Japan, many of which have bloomed down at the Tidal Basin near the Washington Monument for decades

The ross hologram looks like stark tech and the shield in the britain map in the hologram is an easter-egg for Captain britain.
Its not that Sam didnt admire & respect Steve but he simply had to agree because its the truth, Sam is not Steve Rogers, he's not trying to be Steve Rogers cus thats impossible but Sam is dedicated to being the best Captain America he can be.
Obviously Sam & Steve share core values, thats why Steve selected Sam to carry the mantle but Steve wasnt looking for a replacement Steve, he was looking for a good & honorable man to pass the mantle to & Sam was the perfect candidate.

Yes, both Japan and DC are known for cherry blossom trees, which is exactly why it's a perfect misdirect. It may have nothing to do with Japan at all. Other than that one shot of the radar screen. I have a feeling most of this is going to be set in DC. The fact that it could be either or steers you away from assuming it's just one location

I think GW will be the one reviving SHIELD under President Ross' orders, there's a Hellicarrier and all. Nick Fury in some combination of hiding again post Secret Invasion or back on SABER following The Marvels (hopefully its at least mentioned if there is a new SHIELD).
Also, small but could be an amusing side thing, perhaps they will mention Issahs time as a super soldier and it turns out he did indeed fight Red Guardian, who thought he was fighting Captain America.

I liked the trailer, I thought it was pretty good, but trailers can always be deceiving and some of the best trailers came from horrible movies (The Last Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi) so we'll just have to see. Since this is a teaser trailer coming out six months before the movie's release, I think it revealed everything well. We obviously won't get a lot of plot details and they just wanted to tease Red Hulk because this is a teaser trailer and they just wanted to put hype around this film. I am positive we will get more Leader, Red Hulk and actual plot details once the official trailer releases in a few months.
I think the gag will be once he turns into the red hulk, he'll have it back assume it will just ironically grow back. I think it would be a really great funny scene.

I don’t have a problem with red hulk looking like Ross. Regular hulk looks like Bruce. Falcon is not Cap. He’s Falcon with caps shield. We can’t view him as Cap. When he passes the shield to Bucky. Bucky will be Bucky with caps shield not captain America.

I took the Line about Steve Rogers the same way that “ Peter isnt Tony Stark.” Sam is his own person, his own Captain America.
Steve and Sam are the best of friends but he shouldn’t have to be compared to Steve nor should Sam feel he’s living in Steve’s shadow. Steve wouldn’t even want that. They’re both good men but that doesn’t mean they’re the same.

Sam is an original black character. Making him cap is sloppy seconds and saying he's not legitimate as a character if they don't turn him into a white namesake. Falcon is a seriously great character in his own right and they should not try to replace cap. I know they had several others. They offered Hawkeye the shield and he turned it down, I felt the nod to that in age of ultron when he threw it like cap would. Bucky was cap. Same thing, don't swap out Steve. Just bring I a new one from a different universe soon. But Mackie is absolutely perfection as Falcon.
The trailer was dope.. but most marvel trailers are dope so we will see but I will definitely check it out because I like Sam’s portrayal of Captain America and has a lot of layers to it and I hope they continue to expand on it and also give us a good MCU film.
I actually liked it, it gave me a hint of Winter Soldier and I truly liked it. I hope that the reshoots make this film better and Im ok with seeing the action in the film rather than in the trailer. Im happy with this teaser

In the comics Ross’s mustache disappears when he turns into red hulk, in live action that would be a weird choice. So I’m glad he shaved.
