In the midst of this pandemic, Alffy and his team produced an extraordinary work entitled Epic Medley of Indonesian Cultures. This Epic Medley of Indonesian Cultures video was released on Monday, August 17, 2020 through his youtube channel, Alffy Rev. My uncle was a high school geography teacher. He told the story of ice age and its effect to Indonesia islands when I was in middle school. It was so fun to listen to his stories. How the ice melted and slowly filled in the lower lands and resulted in 5 biggest islands in Indonesia. This caused different floras and faunas between the east part, middle and west part of Indonesia. Most floras and faunas in western part of Indonesia similar to south east asia. While the eastern part of Indonesia has floras and faunas closer to Australians. And then he continued to the history part of kingdoms and their eras, Hinduism kingdoms, Buddhism and then Islam kingdoms, continued with the entrance of explorers from Europe. All those things were affecting the tribes' way of life in Indonesia. If someone asked how come 300 different tribes with their own languages and cultures, 6 different religions spread out within 13,000 islands can unite under 1 country, I would shrug my shoulder. Mostly people are just trying to live peacefully, co-dependence and co-existence with each other. But me personally thinks, it would be quite easy to cause chaos due to those differences. Just put 1 religion against another religion or 1 tribe against another tribe. Oftentimes, this is exploited by stupid politicians, who just want power at whatever cost. Having no bigger perspective on how their selfish agenda can ruin the unity of the country.
