- Hey groovy people! I've got a new video for yah! I've been meaning to pick up an Aslatua for about nine years, and I never really felt it was the right time. A month ago, as I was wandering Kyoto, I came across an opportunity that I felt was too good to pass up. Been playing asalato for three years now and I find new rhythms everyday since theirs basically an infinite amount
They are such a cool mix between skill you and percussion instrument.
@@EthanStreblow I was in percussion in high school so I’ve had experience with the little percussion instruments

can you tell me the length of string between kashakas? i bought a pair that i feel might be too short
I think I remember having the string be about the length of my palm. You could try replacing the string to be longer. I was constantly changing the size of the string to get it right. Or letting other people use it.
They are common in West Africa, they call them Nkush kash
Cool! We don't get to see them very often in America or Japan.
