It's so funny to me, when terrans are making medivacs, they always do a bunch, so that they can heal properly, when zergs make dropalords, they always make a bunch to squeeze in more units, but you hardly ever see more than 1 warp prism at a time, it's like wapr prism is the mothership
@RatreoTumips-ig8lg that, and most of the protoss's forces using it are either blinking up a cliff, or are being warped in on the prism. Protoss just doesn't need more of the unit.

For Protoss though not only can you NOT make them even 2 at a time, the robo time as mentioned is also important, they also don't have boost which makes it less easy to do double triple and whatever drops like for terran... The main way a warpprism supports in a fight is by warping in having 2 won't help there really... or for "juggling" and juggling with 2 seperate dropships is just not practical at human APM or at least not as I have seen even clem doesn't try that lol. And then the main reason you would have several warp prism to "drop more" is to "apply more pressure in unexpected places" but for that actually having 15 gates and warping in a cinematic of zealots in the enemy base is already unbeatable in "applying pressure in unexpected places" XD lol

I dont know if the new patch will be enough for protoss to start winning tournaments, but Ive been enjoying watching protoss games quite a bit more. Also I think they should change the frenzy name again, having an upgrade that has the same exact name and picture as one in the campaign but does something completely different seems like it could be a bit confusing to new players.

It shouldn't be an upgrade at all. Adding EVEN MORE shit that zerg has to research is not the answer, especially not when it adds a new ability to an already too-full lineup of abilities, ESPECIALLY especially not when it's this weak. Hydras should just get an actual buff.
They should test old maps on the new patch before it goes live. Maps make such a difference to outcomes, it might be better for balance to go with old maps.
Also, I just hatched a genius idea to help Z offset the new cost of queens (huge change btw)- New ability evolve "Feudalism" - Upgraded @ hive - Cost 300/300/100 - Drones gain "reabsorb" ability to morph permanently into a queen to improve queen speed +10% per drone (up to +4 drones, 40%), and HP +10 per drone(up to +4 drones, 40hp) Keep in mind that means the final cost of a fully loaded queen is 375 + lost mining time. This would fit lore of Zerg and give Queens more flexibility in the later game... their AA is garbage and everyone knows it
The last game actually shows off the Brood Lord bug fairly well. There's a good chance that the game would have gone the other way if that change was present in this version, as the BLs would have gotten more kills on those templars. As a Zerg, I'm still not fully convinced the bugfix is a good or necessary change, but it's interesting for sure.
What if they added a Zerg tech (to be researched w/Hive) that allowed for a Corrupter to morph into a broodlord and vice-versa by paying a certain amount in minerals and/or gas? Would be some really nice flexibility and emphasize the mutable nature of Zerg.
Been thinking about the Banshee and its need for a default skill. So helicopters or jet propulsion-ed ones, it could have a skill where it allows the Banshee to hold target at max range and fly backwards (kite) and strafe, while in this mode, or for an x ammoutn of tiem spending 50 energy, to gain strafe mode or something, unlike the phoenix and other units its a helicopter and is a one directional should be able to shoot whiel strafeing and while reversing, it would look pretty cool, and in t verse t, 6 range of hte banshee and its speed could stay ahead of marines attempting to gun down the marines... default skill or a mode that takes energy to change back and forth.. How it could be programmed is the unit you select it attacks and stays at max range... and moves in mirror direction of the units reaction. I don't know.. but it would be cool.
They need to make it easier for Zerg to transition out of corruptors, there needs to be a balance but right now they just get shafted if they build too many, and Protoss can currently force them into it and then transition smoothly into a ground army
And they build too many bc zerg players do trash easy macro. Just select all larvae and click a button. So convenient. Maybe learn to actually build units and comps evenly like what the other races do?

Shin not teching up to broods, and not using that many ruptors to destroy all nexus with no antiair, showtime not adding stalkers to kill overseers to save observers for lurkers... Judgement calls this first game are miserable.
How OP would stalkers be if there was an upgrade that gave them like 1 second of cloaking after they blink? So you could blink forward and get off 1 shot before enemy can easily target you for example. Make it a long time to upgrade so yuo cant easily get it early game, but something to help stalkers in the later mid game to late game.
With Mothership being unabductable, Over reacting with corruptors is inevitable, because the only way to eliminate it now is trying to overwhelm it and brute force through toss air units. It will be a nightmare to deal with motherships now

It is becoming increasingly common that Zerg get stuck with Corruptors vs Skytoss, and then Protoss loses its air army and goes ground. They really need to make some changes to this unit so it has some anti-ground capabilities other than vomit...

Getting stuck on mass corruptor is a skill issue, recent changes are all focused around making ground army (specifically hydras) better against air. Zerg just need to develop a different meta

I think Shin could take avantage into training late game (maybe by restoring saves or whatever, against a powerfull sparing partner). lots of time he does excellent early game and then collapses. He probably is too accustomed to crush his opponent in 10 mins max. on the last game, the switch to air was really badly done, feels like he panicked to make 20+ corrupters and then not using them to destroy bases. also he was late on his upgrades against a 3/3/3/3/3/3/3/.... protoss If he resolve this weakness, he would be even better than rogue, just behind Dark maybe. Crazy how this game expose the different level of players who are all in the top 20 of the world. the 20th is like a bronze player compared to clem/serral/maxpaxx/Dark
!Spoilers below! Good games. I agree Shins downfall was overproduction of corruptors. I wonder if its something Showtime noticed in his playstyle and exploited, because he clearly made as little air units as possible each game, just enough to counter the lurkers.
For a 60 second ability, thats so underpowered in my opinion, it wouldn’t even be worth implementing. Frenzy too wasn’t even worth implementing😅. Pro’s playing worse trying to make this new ability work than they would have under the old synergies with hydra/roach/ravager.

@@scarletspidernz Well if we’re comparing it to stim instead of a pseudo blink, honestly think they’re a better idea then and simply giving hydra’s burrow move. One of biggest advantages of MMM is actually having both marines and marauders having the same ability for triggering purposes and cohesive movement, even while ability is active. Roach/Hydra could finally be on the same page after all these years

I only rarely "like" videos. I think it has to do with how youtube was in the past compared to now. Before there were "favorites", so as a user you could "like and favorite" a video. There is many videos that i enjoy, but i don't give them a "like" because as a user that's the only grading system that i have and i reserve it. If favorites still existed i would probably "like" many more videos. Then there is the whole thing of managing your algorithm and stuff.
hopefully, with the nerf to the disruptor, psystorm will make more of a comeback. it always has been more broken than the disruptor imho and i think it is quite under-used in recent sc2-years; after all, it is like the 'og broken ability' in sc2 -- khaydarin amulet anyone? 😜😅
Psi storm is always used in pvz. It can't be used in pvt past the mid game because of EMP and ghosts. It's less common in PVP because disruptors one shot everything on the ground and do bonus damage to shields, and your opponent can just feedback them with their own templar.
That the 2 immortals at 10:35 can overextend like that onto creep against hydras with a speed boost ability researched and still be perfectly fine hurts me right in the zergs
You know what would be an interesting buff for Zerg? Giving them some sort of way to get to 220 supply max once at Hive tech *Maybe drones take 0.75 supply? 40 drones means 10 more supply? Enables more swarm whilst not buffing low eco deathball much more
The Hydra lurch is the dumbest change ever. It makes no sense thematically, and it doesn't even really save your army from Storm because they just throw out another one...
Yeah its pretty underwhelming. Especially with how short the duration is. Stim lasts what? 6 seconds gives you move speed and attack rate increase at the cost of ten health per unit which is completely mitigated by medivacs anyway and has no cooldown. Frenzy doesnt really do as described. You just half heartedly accelerate across a pathetic amount of distance for not even one second. What would be more interesting is if there was a burrow travel mechanic instead where you pop into the ground and pop out somewhere else.

Also just makes hydras way harder to use at lower levels as they are even slower and just as squishy, with an extra micro tax once you get to hive and have a bunch of spellcasters.

These gold mines just make up for imbalanced games, I don't care about the variety it brings it makes the PvZ impossible, it's a free base for the zerg. I don't understand how map creators think this is okay, it's just so easy to expand as zerg, it forces the protoss player to attack it makes no sense, it puts tremendous pressure into one style. Look at this map so beautiful but the zerg has many gold bases to choose from it's kinda ridiculous.

I agree with what @arvedpittner9782 said, the prism just doesnt have additional utility, takes precious robo time, and costs 300 minerals.

Good games. I agree Shins downfall was overproduction of corruptors. I wonder if its something Showtime noticed in his playstyle and exploited, because he clearly made as little air units as possible each game, just enough to counter the lurkers.

For a 60 second ability, thats so underpowered in my opinion, it wouldn’t even be worth implementing. Frenzy too wasn’t even worth implementing😅. Pro’s playing worse trying to make this new ability work than they would have under the old synergies with hydra/roach/ravager.
@@MarsStarcruiser well obviously theyd tweak the numbers but it's more meant for use like stim, during a fight and since most fights are over in 15s, you've either beaten your enemy or backed off.
@@scarletspidernz Well if we’re comparing it to stim instead of a pseudo blink, honestly think they’re a better idea then and simply giving hydra’s burrow move. One of biggest advantages of MMM is actually having both marines and marauders having the same ability for triggering purposes and cohesive movement, even while ability is active.

I only rarely "like" videos. I think it has to do with how youtube was in the past compared to now.
Before there were "favorites", so as a user you could "like and favorite" a video.
There is many videos that i enjoy, but i don't give them a "like" because as a user that's the only grading system that i have and i reserve it.
If favorites still existed i would probably "like" many more videos.
Then there is the whole thing of managing your algorithm and stuff.

it always has been more broken than the disruptor imho and i think it is quite under-used in recent sc2-years; after all, it is like the 'og broken ability' in sc2 -- khaydarin amulet anyone? 😜😅
Psi storm is always used in pvz. It can't be used in pvt past the mid game because of EMP and ghosts. It's less common in PVP because disruptors one shot everything on the ground and do bonus damage to shields, and your opponent can just feedback them with their own templar.

That the 2 immortals at 10:35 can overextend like that onto creep against hydras with a speed boost ability researched and still be perfectly fine hurts me right in the zergs

Zerg already has that. You can make a couple dozen spore crawlers, refill the supply, then cancel. You lose about 19 minerals per canceled Spore.

The Hydra lurch is the dumbest change ever. It makes no sense thematically, and it doesn't even really save your army from Storm because they just throw out another one...
Yeah its pretty underwhelming. Especially with how short the duration is. Stim lasts what? 6 seconds gives you move speed and attack rate increase at the cost of ten health per unit which is completely mitigated by medivacs anyway and has no cooldown.
Frenzy doesnt really do as described. You just half heartedly accelerate across a pathetic amount of distance for not even one second.
What would be more interesting is if there was a burrow travel mechanic instead where you pop into the ground and pop out somewhere else.
right oh cool i moved two squares over. i didnt get close or far from storms/ colo. not getting out of the way of tank fire nor am i chasing anything down.. it is dumb and some moron at blizzard is like yeah this is cool.. said no one ever...
Also just makes hydras way harder to use at lower levels as they are even slower and just as squishy, with an extra micro tax once you get to hive and have a bunch of spellcasters.
@@SoulCrapperI think blink is a much better comparison than stim, that’s the general goal of the ability right, to get hydras out of bad spots or to push forward into better ones
I just don't understand why it's a hive upgrade and they don't just have it. But yeah as is it seems pretty worthless probably should travel 50-100% further than it does

These gold mines just make up for imbalanced games, I don't care about the variety it brings it makes the PvZ impossible, it's a free base for the zerg. I don't understand how map creators think this is okay, it's just so easy to expand as zerg, it forces the protoss player to attack it makes no sense, it puts tremendous pressure into one style. Look at this map so beautiful but the zerg has many gold bases to choose from it's kinda ridiculous.
