I played the game in CN and the amount of references is actulally unbelievable. There's a KFC Thursday Special reference, The Shining Reference, references to actual local delacacies in China. An NPC literally speaks in Peking Opera (Master Gongshu). At the very beginning of the game when Kafka checks a server and says there's nothing in it, Silver Wolf says the programmer probably deleted the database and ran, which is a popular Chinese meme about programmers. And there's one I found that may not be true, but when you first arrive in the Xianzhou Luofu town, I came across an NPC who describes the city is in lockdown and they couldn't even buy ingredients to cook, which I thought to be a reference to the COVID-19 lockdown that took place in Shanghai in 2022. The lockdown lasted for several months and pretty much all households in the city faced the problem of not being able to cook while locked in their homes, and was experienced by myself and no doubt MiHoYo which is located in Shanghai.
Another reference is: When you interact with all doors in the Goethe grand hotel hallway two sisters will appear referencing the two girls from The Shining (Horror movie)
The achievement for completing Clara's side story mission is called Clara and the Sun, a reference to an old novel by japanese author Kazuo Ishiguro titled Klara and the Sun. On the Luofu, (im not sure if this changes after you progress through the storyline). One of the cliud knights who initially blocks your path will start saying the fiest half if Paimon's infamous "how about we explore the area ahead of us later" before hastily catching himself.
I read Klara and the Sun like 2 years ago, and it’s a really sad book about a maid-like friend robot who learns to take care of a young sickly kid and (spoilers!) eventually gets left behind forever when the kid leaves.
There's also the reference to Jack Sparrow's line found in the letter Sampo left for trailblazer at the museum. "Remember this as the day you almost caught"

For example, I believe it was Zandar? Genius Society member 1, referenced the existence of an "imaginary tree", something that was discussed heavily in HI3.
I mean if you think about it, HI3 and HSR being in the same universe/multiverse (idk, didn't play HI3) isn't really a reference, therefore maybe that's why he didn't mention all the little things about it
