You're right about Overclocking when you show that cpu. it's just that humans can't handle the wear and tear of doing it causing many side effects like mental insanity and characters becoming more like TD like Jinshi getting more prominent dragon scales . So it's basically going above and beyond your normal capacity much like a cpu boosting over its base clock.
The intro is what got me hooked on the game. I don't know how to describe it, but the music, effects, and designs are so beautiful. What got me off the game was when I missed a lot of lore when my brother sneaked up when I was not around and did dialogues and cutscenes. Sure, I said that time to myself that I could just watch it on TH-cam to see it again. But I decided that my experience took a turn, and so I just uninstalled it after I waited painfully for hours. The game is smooth and very good. I got so hyped about it, but the combat, dodging, or hitboxes are unlike the other game I used to play. I love it, but I guess I can quit now and be free.
Absolute Cinema xD Nice vid bro! Welcome to Wuwa community hahaa, Enjoy the fight and rewards xD Edit: I agree that some stories are still boring, but yeah, go for 1.1 Story. I only skipped like 30% of the dialogues lol, while I enjoyed the rest of the dialogues so much
one thing I really love in wuwa when I first played was the loot mapper it just makes it so easy to find chests early in the game not like in genshin that you need to wait weekly just to level up your reputation to get the compass
I'm glad to see more genshin players opening up to wuwa instead of downplaying it. I myself am also a genshin player, who enjoys this game a lot more but I didn't drop genshin either
i like the way you share your experience! i'm glad you tried wuwa😊i didn't knew your channel before this video but i'm suscribed already also you played a fair amount for first impressions, i've been playing since day 1 and i stopped with the quest at the exact same point, i only did the rest when Jinhsi was about to come out, and i'm glad i did!! it really gets better and exciting!! Also, Kuro have been taking action within the bugs and other stuff, the british npc for example, i don't know what was the problem there lol but the voice acting is done in London, they listened to the community and shared an statement regarding all that, they will direct the voice acting different to improve, meaning some characters might have an accent, you can hear it already at the 1.1 quest (i personally love it) and Yangyang improved too!
Aw thank you!! But yeah I heard Kuro employees are working really hard to fix the issue and I just hope they don't overwork themselves T^T , they're just minor issues and doesn't affect the "having fun" aspect of the game
Only bad thing about you not continuing the main story is the second fight with Scar, which was SO cool. By far the coolest fight imo. Also, it might be my adhd but i think you're right about the story being a bit confusing, i had to look up videos and posts explaining it to understand it better
It's definitely the exploration and combat why I enjoy Wuwa. The dodge and parry is something I also love. Going back to Genshin feels like it's just a numbers game. While Wuwa makes me feel like it's pure skill base. And if I lose, it's MY fault and not because i didn't have the right echo- i mean artifacts. Genshin may have the story. But gameplay satisfaction definitely goes to wuwa.
I agree how the story is slightly slow at the beginning, but starting from chapter 5 the plot and story becomes one of the best I've ever experienced in a game
i recently learned about the tactical simulacra, which is a boss gauntlet with buffs(that are VERY strong) and a selection of at level characters to pick from for each level of the gauntlet. needless to say i was VERY pleased testing out Changli in there, which i got earlier in the day(she carried me even 20 levels under, so i'd say it was well worth it). 10/10, would parry spam and bully thundering mephis again
I play both and all I have to say in terms of exploring Wuthering Waves has it best. It's so parkour around the map with the freedom to dash while mid air.
I've a feeling you're satisfied with quenching your curiosity in games I find GI slow too, finished WuWa in a week(4 days tbe) and I really liked wuwa despite I found the name awkward when i first heard about it
Fighting bosses while underlevel is the most fun part. Also try to fight special enemies that have fixed level regardless world level especially those 80+ (they have read aura) while underlevel, the accomplishment is so satisfying😊 with just dodge counter or keep switching with intro/outro bar full to do real damage to them
@@BakerBizcui I wish you success mate😊 its possible but single mistake can got you respawned by single hit especially those special bosses that leveled 120 like the bear or those in Mt. Firmament
I actually LOVED the storyline! It was very captivating for me. I'm not far in to the game myself cause I started yesterday but I really loved the storyline and the gameplay. 9/10 (the english voice lines are a bit buggy that's why I give it a 9)
Bro get confused with the storyline when used the skip option, i would say those that watched all the cutscenes get more confused hahaha the storylines really make no sense (but 1.1 patch jinshi's story was improved)
3 years and 3 months retired Genshin Player here, I quit Genshin when WUWA got released. In all honesty, everything was FAST, Competative, and you will be FORCED to FOCUS 24/7 because of the Parry and Block system, it was like, the game is CHALLENGING YOU to be competative. The combat system is 100x better than Genshin NO CAP. It was a wonderful experience. After 3 weeks of playing WUWA, I went back to my Genshin Account and got Clorinde 🤣, I did play for like 30 minutes and gave up. I gave up because I realized that the game was slow... YES, I just Realized after like 3-5 minutes, GI got slow or my gaming instintics is telling me to "BACK TO CASUAL" 🤣.. Genshin Impact is for Casual players who just love to collect units. WUWA is for hardcore players who wants to ENHANCE their reaction and focus capabilities. Tbh, its better to play the one that will IMPROVE you the most which is WUWA since to tell you, my reaction on any game got LEVELed up without me noticing it.
I still do enjoy both games but yep, Genshin is EXTREMELY SLOW and most of the times there's so much going on that you can't even see your characters XD. Whereas Wuwa is so smooth and more methodical. Genshin just hurts my brain after playing for too long
What I love about Wuthering Waves is we get rewarded being able to execute a timed counter-attack and evasion. Not very easy to do but definitely worth the trouble to learn and master. Unfortunately we don't get that in Genshin Impact.
As a honkai player who's used to the dodge and team switching and no running stamna, wuwa was so fun to play, the character designs are really pretty although i don't really know much about the story bc honkai, slime im and zzz so i never really finished playing it 💀 I also love how you can do a tutorial for ever character's combat, not only the banner featured ones
i acttually skipped the fairy telling part by scar and run straight in to his domain and fight him afterward, its just fun to know how dialog actually makes difference in dis game
So bit of a fun tip about the english voice acting: the VAs are british, and were forced to do American accents and only did 1-2 takes per line. So if the character slowly turns british... that's why
if you love the skip button... just like most of us... it's best that you didn't played the game on it's release. You didn't experienced the grief that we have suffered. Also... i noticed that you didn't hate yangyang. THIS IS THE POWER OF THE SKIP BUTTON!
I almost started playing during the beta but I wanted to wait for my pc upgrade but I heard that the intro fight was much better than the newer version though
hmmm... maybe, what we didn't liked that time was that they don't have that skip button almost in every dialogue, specially in the main story. And they're soooooo long! They added the button in recent patches and updated the story a bit so it's not very wordy and I heard that it improved a lot just because of that.
I ABSOLUTELY HATE YANG YANG!!!! HER VOICE SOUNDS LIKE SHE WOULD BE A DRAMATIC ASS BITCH AND THROW HERSELF ON THE FLOOR IF A FLY TOUCHES HER AND AHE GOES "rover🥺😔 I'm not ok 😢 go back without me🥺😔😔" LIKE STOP BEING A BABY! ID MUCH RATHER TALK WITH CHIXIA THAN YANG YANH
I was rooting for genshin due to it's amazing storyline and world building, but now I've played wuwa for 2 months, I can say that wuwa may not as rich as genshin in storyline but wuwa has more dramatic moments than genshin, and not to mention the variation of movements and animation even for NPC, it still amazes me how NPC has more movement and fluid animation here, and also every time Rover start speaking I was like "ayoo, you aren't supposed to do that" lol. In genshin our voice is always represented by Paimon.
ive never skipped the main quests, but i also find it a bit confusing i always have to go back to the gallery to reread the dialogue until i understand it better
Co-op could use like 10 different QoL changes, and i personally wish i didn't have to select "do not show again" for skipping cutscenes everytime i relaunch wuwa. Those are my only two gripes at this point. I feel like people are comparing it to current genshin... like 4.? or whatever genshin was on. I'm sure in 4-5 YEARS wuwa will be pretty lit also
Ive just started playingon mobile 6 days ago and this is much better than genshin from a mobile perspective. I will still play genshin on pc when at home
I appreciate the similarities Wuthering Waves shares with Genshin Impact as it makes the game feel more familiar, easier to understand some systems or mechanics, and less confusing. I also love the combat that stands out for gacha game and has very high skill ceiling, but is not hard to grasp for me as a Dark Souls enjoyer. It's a niche but solid backbone and Kuro can develop the game from this strong foundation.
3:46 But also that kind since Overclocking increases the Abilities (like your PC strength) beyond the normal amount but at the cost of a chance of unstability and self-destruction.
Me personally, played it. Got many 5 stars, pretty much everyone I care about Don't even log in anymore I'm the type of guy that has 100% explo in all of teyvat and has almost every single achievement in the game. My quest log is empty. It isn't that hard to satisfy me, and somehow WUWA failed. The boss mechanics are cool though
The story gets A LOT better in acts 6 and 7, because some chinese people complained about the story from the beta tests so it got destroyed, but the new story parts are really good.
my friends also abused the skip button and i had to explain the story to them because they have no fucking clue lmao honestly, i dont usually like watching people trying a game i like for the first time because it gets me all mad because they have no idea but this was funny, i really enjoyed this ! now im gonna go stalk ur channel to see if there more yay

Eyyy! seems like you are enjoying! regardless you stay or not, but as long you enjoy, a games mission is complete, providing enjoyment to others
tho I do need to warn you about going to genshin since it will, well gonna feel slow
Seriously tho, i kept pressing "T" by mistake while playing Genshin cuz it was so slow, running was the worse part 😭
Pov: it's pretty boring idk why then proceed to "Skip a story"
😂 you missed the part when Yinlin tied you up with her string like a puppet..
NUHUH
You're right about Overclocking when you show that cpu. it's just that humans can't handle the wear and tear of doing it causing many side effects like mental insanity and characters becoming more like TD like Jinshi getting more prominent dragon scales . So it's basically going above and beyond your normal capacity much like a cpu boosting over its base clock.
Ah- That actually makes sense (totally did that on purpose)
@@BakerBizcuiI love that “does over clocking turn you British?” Hilarious!
I get really happy when I hear that people are happy with this game. The devs worked really hard and they are constantly listening to feedback ^_^
This is not mmoRpg (massive multiplayer online) games are different
Omg I just realised that, Im so sorry 😭😭
Thank you for the clarification!
Keep it up :)) the story get better from act 5 and go on :))) cant wait to hear about your oppinion
Yesss, I loved the part where abby? Was it, appeared it was so cute! The story definitely got better for sure.
@@BakerBizcui glad to hear you enjoying the game
@@BakerBizcuiYeah! I like Abby's personality and he/she is actually useful and doesn't talk 24/7 unlike certain floating mascot
Entertaining video. More WUWA contents please. The story gets better, especially when you reach Mt. Firmament. Please continue with your progression
Welcome to Wuwa community hahaa, Enjoy the fight and rewards xD
Edit: I agree that some stories are still boring, but yeah, go for 1.1 Story.
Honestly wuwa has grown on me as I played it more, hope you enjoy the game. I really liked the 1.1 update.
"I skipped the story"
"The story was boring"
You didn't experience the story, so your opinion on it holds no value.
I didn't skipped the story. But it was a little boring. But also quite excited because of the "combat" part. We are getting another PGR incident here.
@@Stygian_SilhouetteI don't know why they just didn't hire a competent writer or writers. I would be a good long term investment.
this was super enjoyable, hope you can enjoy and share more of it in the future~
i like the way you share your experience! i'm glad you tried wuwa😊i didn't knew your channel before this video but i'm suscribed already
also you played a fair amount for first impressions, i've been playing since day 1 and i stopped with the quest at the exact same point, i only did the rest when Jinhsi was about to come out, and i'm glad i did!! it really gets better and exciting!!
Boy, your channel has potential. Your humor, timing and editing are amazing. Keep up improving.
Really appreciate it :)
I thought i was the only one who was amazed by the skip button
Also the fact that the talking scenes are way better and expressive makes the game even more better (genshin could never)
I agree how the story is slightly slow at the beginning, but starting from chapter 5 the plot and story becomes one of the best I've ever experienced in a game
maybe branch out a little with the games you play 🙃
If you ever pay for a game, you're gonna be amazed with the story if you think WuWa's is so good.
@@legionssb the only game that I've paid for is OMORI and i love that game :3
Pls play more games...
I hadn’t heard this Kirby music in like… 20 years or something 😨 I didn’t know that I needed it
i recently learned about the tactical simulacra, which is a boss gauntlet with buffs(that are VERY strong) and a selection of at level characters to pick from for each level of the gauntlet. needless to say i was VERY pleased testing out Changli in there, which i got earlier in the day(she carried me even 20 levels under, so i'd say it was well worth it). 10/10, would parry spam and bully thundering mephis again
In case you missed it, encountering an enemy on the open world while running will drain your stamina until you get out of its range
That bao goddess one is actually similar to the main girl in pgr called Lucia
I play both and all I have to say in terms of exploring Wuthering Waves has it best. It's so parkour around the map with the freedom to dash while mid air.
I've a feeling you're satisfied with quenching your curiosity in games
I find GI slow too, finished WuWa in a week(4 days tbe) and I really liked wuwa despite I found the name awkward when i first heard about it
Fighting bosses while underlevel is the most fun part. Also try to fight special enemies that have fixed level regardless world level especially those 80+ (they have read aura) while underlevel, the accomplishment is so satisfying😊 with just dodge counter or keep switching with intro/outro bar full to do real damage to them
maybe I should just make a video of me fighting all the bosses with level one characters 💀
9/10 (the english voice lines are a bit buggy that's why I give it a 9)
This game feels so fresh and nice after playing BotW. Exploration is so much better with the big stam bar and grapple.
Genshin just hurts my brain after playing for too long
this is how I felt fr. its refreshing seeing them care abt combat where its an afterthought in genshin.
What I love about Wuthering Waves is we get rewarded being able to execute a timed counter-attack and evasion. Not very easy to do but definitely worth the trouble to learn and master. Unfortunately we don't get that in Genshin Impact.
As a honkai player who's used to the dodge and team switching and no running stamna, wuwa was so fun to play, the character designs are really pretty although i don't really know much about the story bc honkai, slime im and zzz so i never really finished playing it 💀
I also love how you can do a tutorial for ever character's combat, not only the banner featured ones
i acttually skipped the fairy telling part by scar and run straight in to his domain and fight him afterward, its just fun to know how dialog actually makes difference in dis game
So bit of a fun tip about the english voice acting: the VAs are british, and were forced to do American accents and only did 1-2 takes per line. So if the character slowly turns british... that's why
I love the transition they made, not everyone has to be 🦅MURICA🦅
I really like the editing and the reactions. Many likes not so many subs.... THAT'S NOT FAIR, SUB TO THIS GUY!!
Stop! you're glazing too much, I'm not that great
(3:33) oh my macaroni. the jiggle physics SHE'S JUST STANDING 😭👌
HOW DID U EVEN NOTICE THAT!? You're going into timeout
just a tip man idk if u know but ur supposed to heavy attack with calcharo after his 3 skills
Oh yeah, I started getting the hang of all the characters now with a little help from videos xd but thank you for the heads up
I just did 3 consecutive parries on the 50%hp Spectro boss while having 200 hp and I sh8 you not that feeling was epic
if you love the skip button... just like most of us... it's best that you didn't played the game on it's release.
I ain't gonna lie, Wuwa's combat and style is better, I like both though
Me watching him gegenuinely fight against and struggle with crown less, knowing full well I one shot Crownless with one Calcharo Burst
😭😭
Bro I been playing wuwa for 3 months and when you mentioned v-sync, I just realized if I turn it of or nah and checked it and it was freaking on 😭😭🙏🙏
I just noticed but next time rover absorbs a boss in the main story i have now a vague idea of his next element's animations
havoc rover gets inspired by crownless when he absorbed him in the beginning of the story
Great video! Can't wait for a 1.1 impression video😁
Might take some time though T^T
@@BakerBizcui yeeah and seems like you havent finished act V yet, i was the peak. but pls take all the time you need. we'll be waitin
Looking forward for the first impression of patch 1.1 story, trust me, don't mute the bgm.
you literally stoped before the best part of the main story started😭
seeing all the neurons activate was hilarious and you earned my sub!
i LOVE how enemies freeze during your burst because in genshin half of the enemies can walk or tp away during the longer animations
The amount of times, an ABYSS MAGE teleported right as I activate my ult is crazy. So yeah I'm happy that they freeze too xD
I'm sure in 4-5 YEARS wuwa will be pretty lit also
Just wait until Act 6 and the story goes hype!!!
ONLY an apple out of banana?! I'll have you know it's at LEAST a melon out of banana
Nuhuh, Im a very hard guy to impress 😤
I watch until the end and it was funny for me 😂 ty for playing wuwa ❤
“Do ppl just turn British when they overclock?!” 😂
love ur editing style subed
that unexpected Bao jumpscare
3:46 But also that kind since Overclocking increases the Abilities (like your PC strength) beyond the normal amount but at the cost of a chance of unstability and self-destruction.
The story and voice direction seriously needs work. That's the only gripe I have with this game. Great vid, would love to see more of your journey.
9:03 I thought my game was on crack when this happened but the fact that its actually like this is funny to me
your voice is really pleasant to listen to
Me personally, played it. Got many 5 stars, pretty much everyone I care about
Don't even log in anymore
I'm the type of guy that has 100% explo in all of teyvat and has almost every single achievement in the game. My quest log is empty. It isn't that hard to satisfy me, and somehow WUWA failed. The boss mechanics are cool though
I really like how he pronounces the character names properly unlike the VA's in the game.
I thought I butchered their names TOT. Glad I didn't XD
Why is no one talking about his editings !!!!! damn bro is ready
Dude you're too kind. Thank you!
7:30 that domain thing was good
I've got a weekend tomorrow maybe I'll download and play the game and decide if I wanna keep playing after Monday. I'll update this by then.
The story gets A LOT better in acts 6 and 7, because some chinese people complained about the story from the beta tests so it got destroyed, but the new story parts are really good.
oh god. Your editing and humor is awesome. 🥰🥰🥰
just saw this clip thanks to the Algorithm and your video made me laugh out loud. 🥰
11:32 that little wtf at the end made me hit that subscribe button 😂
waiting for your reaction to camellia encounter, hope you wont skip that scene 😂
my friends also abused the skip button and i had to explain the story to them because they have no fucking clue lmao
honestly, i dont usually like watching people trying a game i like for the first time because it gets me all mad because they have no idea but this was funny, i really enjoyed this ! now im gonna go stalk ur channel to see if there more yay
Thank you!! there's nothing much to stalk tho xd
@@BakerBizcui i honestly thought u was a big channel 😭😭 lmao, looking forward for more vids tho
I love the cookie run comparison
Recently got Shorekeeper with 3 individual pulls as soon as I returned

@@BakerBizcui Missed out on 1.2 since got busy with life but somehow my luck on Gacha games somehow worked out and got her immediately. (And I got 2 new S ranks on ZZZ lol)
I have been playing genshin for idk four years? No wait. Idk Where that was but since the versión 1.3.
Anyways. Im still playing but im playing wuwa too. MAN THE DIFFERENCE. in terms oF STORYTELLING. Okay maybe its too soon to judge but ... Idk everything feels so.. like...they put love in It. They actually care
bro your video is fun...i really like and appreciate it
Genshin was never appealing to me but I'm really loving wuthering waves
Hahaha you’re about to have a great time as you progress. The story is amazing ❤❤❤ you’re gonna love it.
That Pedro meme instert... priceless
