- Honestly, the more I play the game, the more she I realise that she is our mom, and she's doing her best to give the best future for the mc, and she's doing everything for us! Even though they all see her as a villain!

I think it's kind of like an imprinting thing? As in before Kafka wipes MC's memories the image of her becomes a core memory so there's always a sense of familiarity when MC sees Kafka. In canon I wouldn't say it's a parental attachment but the MC definitely knows there's some kind of history between them

Shes always on a more flirty route (specialy in her quest) when communicating with us. blade on the other side its totaly different...she cares about him (as seen in the quest) but her behavior with him is far different as with the MC
given the rare facts we know about Kafka i would say shes deeply hurt (because elio somehow convinced her that the future etc isnt completely changable and she had a rough life before elio and the stellaron hunters...one with much loss) so shes doing all her shit because she tries not to care about everything everyone else anymore which isnt working around the MC at all.....
not sure if shes more flirty with the male MC or its the same but im playing the male one and she is definitly pushing him in some direction with the truth and lie game specialy with the question if the mC cares about her.

@@wntrwinter Honestly, the reason they are the enemy at all is a little vague and half-assed if you ask me. They are basically doing the same thing the Express Crew is doing, but somehow they are the bad guys. Which is something Kafka even points out. It just doesn't make a lot of logical sense to me.
Hmm idk. From the way Kafka phrase it, while Stellaron Hunters might not be necesarilly a bad guy rn, they seems to be plotting something, which mostly only some members (ex. Elio) know why. Like how "The power of the Hunt is indispensable" for their plan and even their members like Kafka doesn't really be given the ultimate goal of why they do it and all until presumably told later on.
Meanwhile the Express is straightforward "Solve the Stellaron, save the world."
Again, idk if they plan something good or bad. And their "plan" do sometimes involve / coincide with the Express. But they sure more than meets the eye.
And yeah it kinda half-baked as of rn lol, too much mystery still
They're "Hunting Stellarons". For a specific purpose. Stellarons come from Nanook. We fight Nanook in Elio's plans.
People in this universe fight and die for their patron Aeon. We see that in Belabog, on the Xianxhou Luofu, and even in Herta's Space Station.
Wanting to kill Aeons is literally evil to people in this universe. Imagine being a dude that wants to get rid of Qlipoth on Jarilo-VI.

Then which chess piece are we? The Pawn? The one who advances as a shield at first, but can still become an essential member via promotion? The knight, who goes behind enemy lines and strikes deep whilst being unexpected? The rook, who, while at first is trapped without potential, has the power to change the tides and deliver a swift victory? The Bishop, who unexpectedly strikes at their enemy from afar, with nobody realizing they were there? The Queen, the strongest one, fulfilling all of the roles except for that of the Knight's? Or The King? The most important piece, because every other piece will sacrifice themselves for it, so long as it can escape and live? Any person who has played chess will know that every piece has it's importance, and needs to be protected. But which are we then?

The problem from the lore standpoint is that gift comes with some major drawbacks, like how what is happening with mara cursed.
The gods in this game are like eldritch of lovecraft. They have different view on how to things are from mortals.
Heck, Hunt's way of saving people from Abudance's gifts is usually involved killing them.
The results are all that matters.

That question might be the reason why the Stellaron hunters wishes to rally all the other Aeons under the flag of the Astral Express. The question goes like this, " Terminus, The Finality, already exists. What use is there for the Destruction? Is Destruction fundamentally different from what Finality represents?".

The Finality traverses the universe speaking of a great prophecy for the future, and what can Elio do? See the future!
Since in-game has Silver Wolf and Kafka be Nihility and Blade is Destruction, I presume it'd be the same way the members of the Astral Express officially follow the Aeon of Trailblaze but all of them begin with different Paths.
@@artofthepossible7329 they state on Jarilo that following the trailblaze makes it easy for the astral express crew to adapt to new environments, which is why they aren’t cold while some of them aren’t even wearing pants, which means that they already follow the trailblaze, but since the trailblaze isn’t a path in game mechanics, the characters themselves are categorized to paths that fit the roles in their gameplay.
This means that the gameplay path and their actual path are not always the same. That or in the HSR universe people can follow multiple paths.
@anartistinavoid7932 I mean, following multiple paths seems possible because that's what you do after Jarilo (you can switch between Descruction and Preservation on a whim), but between you being the vessel of a Stellerion and being blessed by more than one Aeon, you might just be the the exception that proves the rule.
You know there was a cutscene where Fu Xuan flexed on Kafka, reflecting her cartilages, saying that she foresaw every her move, but after using this machine on Kafka, now to her everything looks like Elio with his gang just flexed to a whole alliance, that must sounds so shameful to her

I think the Third way is that, if a Stellaron gets powerful enough it can kill and Aeon. That's why I think they put the Stellaron in the MC, because they eventually have to kill Nanook for the fate of the Universe or something like that.

People, if you play 1.2 Kafka’s companion quest y’all will realize that the reality is that the “being genetically related” thing doesn’t exist. It’s a lie that Kafka purposely tells you because she plays a truth/lie game with MC in which she tells you a truth and then a lie. The DNA thing IS THE LIE.
well her feelings for us is genuinely like a mother she literally tries to protect us whenever and lie for our benefit (yanqing encounter) and when we talk about her fondly shes happy not only that even blade says he's surprised that we lasted so long with her and yet even though she wiped our memories she tries to protect us from all harm. we might not be blood related to her but in the end she is a motherly figure to us! (or st the very least a guardian.)

At the end of the day it’s okay as long as people don’t try to push the Mother thing onto other players because not everyone is comfortable with it. I say this because I’ve seen people try to force Kafka being MC’s mother onto other players ever since the leaks got out but it ended up being not exactly accurate, all because of misinformation… but overall yes! I agree she’s like a guardian!

@@vial2606 It started out as a game leak but eventually when we got this line in Kafka's companion mission, the "25% of TB's DNA is from Kafka" turned out to be a lie.
In the companion mission, Kafka asks TB to play a game with her in which both of them ask each other two questions, one of which they have to answer truthfully and one that they have to lie. By selecting specific choices, it's possible to tell if Kafka was lying or not. The 25% DNA one was a lie, and the truth was that TB is an artificial body created for the purpose of containing a Stellaron. One day, Elio brought TB to Kafka, and she was the one who raised TB, teaching them common sense and combat skills (so yes, technically she's still a mother but in a figurative sense).
