I feel bad for these two girls. Michele was emotionally manipulating them to be her friend out of pity. They obviously didn’t like her. She’s a straight narcissist who encouraged Conrad’s death for a sliver of attention. How anyone thinks she doesn’t deserve at least a few years in jail is beyond me
I don't think she's just a mean person, mean people are mean because it makes them feel good. Her motive was attention, which is gross but it does qualify as a disorder. Same as "munchausen by proxy", they kill their own kids for attention. I have no sympathy for them, just saying their need for attention is so strong they'll do ANYTHING to get it. Like a drug.

This first witness can’t remember anything. She doesn’t know anything useful. Then the judge was barking a bit making her nervous. It was just frustrating to listen to in my opinion. Not my favorite judge. Second witness was not much better.
Michelle is beyond unstable she’s legit insane I wonder if she even has any friends like seriously who encourage someone to kill themselves and gets mad every time he chickened out it’s just weird to me she needs to be locked away in a mental hospital
Susan Harkins Sam seemed like a friend. It seemed like she did have friends but she was just unable to see that these people did care about her. I think she was extremely self centered in a destructive way, and people got annoyed about the conversation always being about her. She made the conversations about her by being depressing and I think that’s another way she pushed people away. The thing is, she could have easily lied about all this instead of actually involving a poor mentally damaged boy into her plot to make people feel bad for her. She could have made up and imaginary boyfriend who killed himself... She’s a sociopath. He wasn’t a person to her, he was a pawn in her game of chess.
There are plenty of people out there like this and it's scary. I met someone who is similar, very narcissistic and toxic. Always the victim and wants unending attention.
Following the terrible acoustics in that court room the sound is so bad I am sure it will keep many people from being willing to put in the effort of listening to it
I think the majority of those questions, are those which they already know the answer to so they're trying to establish whether the person on the stand is lying or not
I understood those questions to show that the lawyer is painting a picture in describing the stark contrast between Michelle and these girls. They had a full life outside just being social, texting, obsessing over Glee, etc. Michelle clearly had quite the opposite.
