    Thanks H&M for the great review! Question: I noticed when jumping your vehicle that I did not see the jump pack display show voltage of the battery, before and after starting your engine. Does this jump pack include that feature on the display? Thank you.

      This jump starter does not show battery voltage, originally i thought it showed battery voltage as well, but it turns out this unit does not show battery voltage, it shows everything else.

      The only jump starters that I have seen that show battery voltage is the Fanttik T8 Apex and Noco GB150, I'm sure there are more jump starter units that show battery voltage but the ones I have reviewed don't show voltage except Fanttik T8 & Noco GB150

    I’m seeing a lot of, um… “inspiration” from Hulkman. It’d be interesting to see a comparison of the two.

      @@HM_RELOADED I would think so, yeah. They seem like the most comparable in terms of specs.

    What's the Cold Cranking Power on this device?? Was in a jam ordering this unit over the HaulkMan unit. Went with the Gooloo GT 4000 for now.

      I don't know where they get that peak 4000amp number from but its 100% NOT SENDING 4000 AMPS TO THE BATTERY. I believe its about 800 cca for seconds. Its weird but all theese packs have a peak amp number like 1000,2000,3000,4000 amps but I'd bet my paycheck that not 1 of them can supply 4000 cca with a single turn of the key. I'm sure its a true number but with strings attached. Like 4000 amps total from 100% full battery to empty it will have supplied 4000 amps. Something like that. I'm not a very intelligent guy or tech savvy but I'd think 4000 amps to a battery would blow it up. Thats soooooo many amps! I own a noco gb70 from the original batch and its started 2 or 3 small cars in bad situations so its 100% worth buying one, with this gooloo gt4000 for the money being my favorite or the older gooloo gp4000. They suppose to be good. What baffled me is gooloo don't sell theese they only sell the gp**** models. Its strange

      @@eddiekytia you are correct, its 800 CCA for seconds and 4000A Peak according to the box

    • @HM_RELOADED
      @HM_RELOADED  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@eddiekytia they are always saying the amperage is higher then it actually is. I dont believe in anyway that the unit is sending 4000A to the battery, but the box does state it...lol

    • @HM_RELOADED

      I saw on the box its 800 CCA

    • @NCF8710
      @NCF8710 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@eddiekytia That 4000 amp number is an instantaneous value (milliseconds). When the starter motor is first engaged, it draws a tremendous amount of current until the armature rotates. This jump starter can supply the high inrush current necessary to get the starter motor to rotate. Then, the unit can supply up to 800 amps for the few seconds it takes to start the engine.

    I don't understand wondering why the cables aren't on the same side as the light. Look at the size of the light and look at the area required for the cable jacks. Any more questions?

    • @HM_RELOADED
      @HM_RELOADED  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, I have a question, wouldn't it make sense for the cables to be on the same side as the light, this way you could see what you're doing when it's dark out, instead of fumbling around with the unit in the dark and getting more frustrated when you have a dead battery at night. These jump starters have very bright lights, but some people seem to think that just because the light on the unit is bright, you will be able to see clearly no matter which side the light is on, which is totally not the case, especially if you have used one of these units before. Keep in mind that these portable jump starter lights are not 360 degree lights that will give light no matter where the light is placed. I have used these jump starters at night many times and the units that have the light on the opposite side from the cables are very frustrating to use since you cannot see where you are putting the cables. Thanks for the comment
