Check your battery could be going out - and check all your grounds - cheers
Thanks for the tips. I'll check those out. I think I just had hooked up too many devices to ports for the 7.5 amp fuse. Thanks for watching!
The exact same thing happened to me. I plugged in a compressor in the bed. Compressor turned over a couple times and immediately died. As soon as it happened I thought of this video. I took it to my dealer too. 30 amp in the cab, 6 or 7 in the bed. Whyyyyy???
Yeah it doesn't make sense. But it did work with my battery and fridge today! So that's good.
Well HOPEFULLY the future fourth gen Tacoma will address that problem, along with the user unfriendliness of the dashboard display menu options. I’m thinking I’ll wait until 2027 before considering buying a fourth gen Tacoma 😳
That's totally fair! I hope they figure it out too and I hope the turbo 4 proves this engineering team knows what it's doing, but only time will tell on that!
I have a fourth gen too, Apple CarPlay has similar issues than you do, it disconnects randomly, and I have to manually connect it again or turn the car off and back on, I can also confirm that when the CarPlay is on the Wi-Fi goes off, if I turn on my Wi-Fi on my phone, it will disconnect from the car. I doubt that the service department is gonna do anything on those things at this point so I haven’t taken it in.
Thanks for watching and adding those comments. My hope is that by letting the service folks know the issues will get back to the software teams at some point.
@@BenInBeta I’m with you on that, I wish I had the patience to do the same :)
I have the same tire pressure indicator issue you have. I feel it's a software issue as well.
Thanks for the comment I appreciate that. I have also read a few comments from others on this issue on some of the forums too. I really think it's fixable, and they dev team can figure it out, but I imagine it'll take a long time before we see the fix.
I have the same problem with the tire pressure indicator. It just disappears when you shut down the vehicle. 😝
@toyotausa I hope you're seeing this and looking into it! Thanks for sharing!
Weird that the fuse blew so early in your ownership experience.
Yeah it was strange, but I feel like they anticipated this with putting the fuse right there. We'll see how long this one lasts! Thanks for watching!
