What do I feel like eating today ? Scallops, crab, some lobster. Jumps into the ocean , catches them by hand . Extraordinary
Exactly what I was thinking!
I’m glad you have another friend there with you. You never know what can happen in the ocean.
Oh, man, that's how perfect day looks like.
One of the best put together videos you've done Joe you've really levelled up the story telling and narration.
Great scenes as always
I agree. Absolutely wonderfull
Thanks boss. MIss our dives together 👌
@@JoePkSpearfishing1:23 😊😊😊😅
Your experience, maritime knowledge and sheer courage are showcased in this film Joe.
Some great tips about gear, coastal safety and just how easy it is to have fun freediving.
You make a catch & cooks look so simple, but they're far from it really! Brilliant film.😋
Thanks for your comment! I've been lucky to spend so much time in the water and gain a lot of knowledge but there is in fact so much always to learn 👌
What fantastic memory's you are making. I used to skin dive in Dorset in the 70's.
A very absorbing piece. Good that you quietly add a warning about the dangers, as you make this all look so easy, which it most certainly is not!
What a professional production, the narration, the drone footage, the introspection. Felt like I was on a movie set there! What delicious looking friends you made on that adventure.
Joe PK catch and cook are the best videos. So nice
Very kind of you to say thanks for watching
Great diving and sea rood
Wow! Que bonito señor!!!?😍😍😍
Really enjoy the videos! As an old diver myself, I really appreciate your restraint and care of the catch. Keep it up.
Nice to see you eating the roe of the scallops, to many people discard it!!
Best video yet. Felt like an adventure!
well done chaps. you inspire me to spearfish and crayfish more
What an epic day! One of your best videos.
that smile at the end... dive well worth boys, well done.. :) Thank you for sharing, what a great area.
I grew up eating seafood when I was little seafood is good for you I just love it ♥️♥️ thanks for sharing this video👍👍
some incredible drone footage of nature! stunning!
Mate a water man from the pacific when I say that I mean the entire South Pacific blessed. Moved to UK at 23 from Nz have a family now living in Henley. I had no idea you could hunt and forage a feed catch and cook. I feel reborn thank you brother blessed
Beautiful stuff again Joe, looked like it was a fantastic day out for both of you :)
What an amazing variety of seafood from one dive. Good on ya!
Re your comment about a boat. You are 100% right. I have a small rib and although it’s nice to go out with the family a couple of times in the year, 99% of the time when I go spear fishing, I do so by walking/driving to my favourite spots. Boat needs so much more thought and work both before and after that most of the time I just can’t be ars@d.
get on boi!! back to it. Weather's perfect down my way, spideys n bass in the bag already, back out today. great idea with the 7mm top, its a bit chilly in there with a 5 🥶
Brilliant video Cpt...
What amazing scenery and vis.
Good job on the narrating aswell, absolutely fantastic.
Just watched part 1 and 2 of Isles of Scilly tonight... ansum times 😊
Cheers and gone
Excellent video Joe and excellent cook up aswell. Thanks for sharing Joe. 👍
Thanks Nigel
Your an inspiration!!!!❤
Thanks 😎
Very interesting to see that the bottom around the wreck where you picked those scallops is the exactly the same sort of bottom to look for halibut once you’re in the northern part of Norway!
Wow all free diving… I wish I could do that. Awesome
I'm a first time visitor to your channel Joe, that looked like a grest day out! Thanks for talking us along. I watched from the comfort of my little boat with a bacon roll and a brew a little bit north of Oban.
Best wishes
Stae safe.
David
Those scallops are massive so good great video thanks for sharing

While eating chicken nuggets im salivating over this catch

So dope !
Bliss…. So peaceful your vids. Stunning surroundings do help but for sure, you know how to tell a story. 👏👏👏
Thanks JB 🙏
Refreshing.
Been waiting for a foraging video 👍🐟
This honestly looks like the best day ever
Can't wait to do it again soon!
Beautiful video and commentary. If you are a diver you will understand what Joe means in his words ❤ when you're in the ocean you feel how really small you are and understand the greatness of it. Good job mate keep them coming
Ps. I got a good Pollock last weekend a bit bigger than yours and only in 5-6m depth
You need to come some day down to Ireland and we can do some diving around Kerry.
Awesome.
Awesome video. I felt i was experiencing the adventure vicariousky through you. Very charming & i love the adventure
Hi Joe, I'm new to the channel, located in sussex. I myself have just got back into free diving and I was wondering if you could do a video in which you explain more about foraging locations, telltale signs and general tips for sustainable sea foraging.
Absolutely love the content, scratches the itch when conditions aren't great
Spearfishing, sustainable fishing 💯🔥💪 really nice video and delicious meal😋
Many thanks Kongriakos
Its Great Mew Stone.... My Dad & i fish the wreck you visited. Lovely place... 😁👍
Hi Joe! It's been awhile haven't. See you n ur post. Glad I was scrolling here on yt n saw your Chanel. Nice to see you tho. Keep on doing what you love. Tca. Hope to see you in ur nxt video... Jane from 🇵🇭
Another great video, what a catch 🙌
Awesome video enjoyed the underwater adventure 😎
I like it very much. great
Wonderfulissimo
superb
Nice seafood selection there. That was a long swim. I remember doing a 4hr 30 min round trip on our south coast cliffs once towing an 8lb bass back. When I got to the beach I could not stand I had to sit there for 10 minutes to recover :) Great video again
Oh wow, any plans to go spearfishing this year?
@@JoePkSpearfishing probably not the boat fishing takes up so much time. I do have to dive the mooring to check it so may go for a look after that but I will have to use tanks for that.
very good friend, keep up the good work
Every summer I spend a month or two alone somewhere in Arctic Norway, usually an desolate island or hiking along the coastline, living off a bag of rice, a bag of onions, a couple of lemons, a few spices and whatever I catch or gather spearfishing. Nice and quiet. By the end of summer I usually visit a friend and we go for bigger halibut. You can do halibut from the shore if you’re in the right place at the right time … been thinkinhg about Scotland for this summer though …

Cool i've never heard of that spit method, yet again i've never dived!
That safety warning was so cool too, cheers!
The anticipation take was next level as well.
You've earned a subscribe and so much more!
Nice catch
Always a cracking video bud
Thanks Jay
Absolutely love your videos brotha 👍 keep it up
Fabulous film Joe. One question the float line (make)?
just scrolling down to see if anyone asked this, couldnt find it either, will watch this for an answer
Its from start point spearfishing in Plymouth. spearfishingstore.co.uk/product/extendable-float-line-for-smbs-2/
@@JoePkSpearfishing Thank you
@@JoePkSpearfishing is there any reason why you didnt go for the version of this line meant for boards given what you use for a float? im asking because i can think of a benefit to not going for the board version but i might be thinking like an arrrrse as im only new to diving
@@-UrbanSurvivor the board one I haven’t used - I wanted to see how the standard one holds up and it’s fine for me 👍
I just subscribed and liked. Loved this video. Much love from Canada!
what a sick video!
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for watching.
crazy to think that island was likely once connected to the mainland!
That's really amazing 😍🤩
Awesome video bro it so nice seeing someone just going off the rocks not diving off a boat it's so much more demanding aye bro
A piece of fresh cut potatoe work well to. Something about the starch keeps your mask from foging up.
Interesting video. Some great sea food caught. Made me feel hungry. Good work 😊😊😊
Thank you❤
太棒,太羨慕了!沒錯只要一些基本的器具一樣可以享受海岸野餐的生活~~~
Good day out mate, result.
Hi Joe. Another great video, thanks.
What a varied dive spot.
A couple of thoughts. A chef friend of mine said the biggest blunter of knifes is dragging them over chopping boards and suggested always using the back of the knife. For the linguine you made, we use a small amount of the pasta water as it helps bind the sauce and give it a bit of a thicker texture.
Look forward to the next video.
Thanks James, it was a lovely area to shore dive!
New subscriber ❤I love this kind of video🥰
woooowwww amazing adventure new friend here
awesome mate love your videos !
Thanks Lee!
Insanely good bag of food that
Thanks SSS hope all is well

Hello from brand new subscriber from USA. I wanted to say what an amazing video; the view (both inside and outside the water), cooking and the information you shared, etc. I really enjoyed it very much; I look forward to watching your other videos. Well done and please keep them coming.
Thanks Jamie!
I enjoy it Nice
is that Ham stone near soar mill cove?
Close, sorry I haven't given away the exact location to respect the locals.
❤❤ from Mizoram
I'm so jealous, vis in the solent is 0% 😢
I could live on a tropical island with just my fishing pole, tackle box, and my survival knife.
Don't get me wrong though, if it ever came down to it, I'd bring way more stuff if I could.
Unreal
Hi Joe were are you in Cornwall great video thanks m8 John 😊
Thanks John were on the south coast, I've decided not to say in public exactly where we went to respect the locals 👌
i love foraging. usually on shore and beach. well this is different, add spearfishing in it? i'm in. new subs. catch & cook while it fresh absolutely 🔥
Great vid guys , could you please give me a rough area of coast where you are ? 🤙
nice video
I’m watching you an anticipating a shark instead of a pollock because I’m scared of them lol
Awesome video Joe, regards to your buddy as well.
Cant wait to take a week of and visit your tropics, what water temp do you have this days? I was spoiled with roasting 11-12C last weekend :o
Its still 12 degrees, taking a while to warm up!
Goodday joe pk! We have been watching your video’s a lot lately sinds we discovered your chanel!
