That was how I got my 5800X3D over a year ago. New £220. I thought this looked too good. So did home work look the sell-up and found the web page and on it an address, etc. that listed the seller as PC Shop. I phoned up and found out that the shop was closing down retirement. He was nice man. We had a talk. I went back to my pc and hit buy on line; after all, if it were an issue, I could get money back. Year later, the CPUhas been outstanding

During early Covid / mining boom a few years back beginning 2020) I got myself a Radeon mining rig with 6x Rx580 Aorus 8gb and 4x Rx580 4GB & 1x Rx5704GB, main board w/ 16gb DDR4 Intel 8600 cpu, 2x 1200w seasonic psus and 1x 1250w (I think FSP) and 1 GPU (8gb was faulty) and 2x GPU needed a single fan lube job and a few blower vacs to clean. I had to bios flash a default bios onto the 3x of the 4gb gpus due to mining bios being on those 3. I spent $240AUD including interstate delivery and sold each GPU at $550 8GB Aorus and $500 and the main board, cables, cpu and ram for $120 and put that money into my pc rig upgrade and banked about 1/2 the money. Deals can be had but you need the right timing and luck. As Bryan did here …. I didn’t haggle as it was a vg price and I knew it!
My undervolted 4070 Ti only draws 170W so I am sure you are fine. Absolutely the best deal on PC parts I have ever seen, curious to see the builds you will use these in.
I have my 4090 undervolted down to 210-230W depending on the game and settings. Best part is there's only a 10% performance loss which makes it still faster than the next fastest card on the market. Runs super quiet and cool.
The best deal I've gotten to date has to be the $300 RTX 4060 TI 8GB. These GPUs go for $500-600 locally and I bought mine from some guy that just wanted an upgrade. He literally used it for a week or two and just decided to upgrade cause he wasn't satisfied with 4060 TI's performance. Prices are a mess in my region, so $300 for a GPU like this was a steal. I don't think I'll ever score a deal like this again.

It's great to see the deal you got. Unfortunately in Bulgaria this is very rare as the people who sell mining rigs try to pull a fast one selling 10s at MSRP.
Regarding the Intel Ultra 9 cpu ….. I’d love to see tested against the 14900k with performance and power efficiency usage in the same tests to see how more efficient, if much at all, Intels new CPUs are as I feel Intel needs to concede even a few % performance if they can get 20%+ great efficiency 🥰👍. And saying that, I’m a Ryzen 7950X3D & 5800X3D user 🤪😇😉
What a steal! I can barely find GTX 1080s for that price 😂I'm from Sydney and I gotta say, the deals here pale in comparison to QLD and other states, the market is in absolute shambles here. No one is buying, prices are too high and parts are scarce. It is getting better however, I was able to sell 3 systems so far this months, which is more than I have been able to for the past 3 months, but definitely MUCH slower than last year same time. Economy is wild this year, praying it goes back to normal soon
Still think ex-mining cards are a risk. My RTX 2070 Super is one, which I suspected when I bought it and confirmed later (turned out the guy had sold 8 or 9 of them in the previous couple of weeks which hadn't shown up in his feedback but found with a search for 'sold items', and he still had a few more to go - all explicitly listed as "selling due to upgrade" of course) and the VRAM is definitely tired, won't reliably run more than c. +250 MHz (MSI Gaming X typically went to +800Mhz new).
Can you please tell us what type of wheel bearing grease you used for the fan? I'm really curious as i tried 5 different types so far and after 1 day of use i get they annoying fan grind back in my GPU fan. Thank you :) P.s. I'm 1000% gallous for the good deal you got on the GPUs :) Keep up the good work mate. Really love the content here 💌
thats a really good deal i have gotten a ton of super good deals buying cards from miners i know a lot of people that if they would just flash stock bios back onto a lot of the rx 400 and 500 cards from the modded mining bios they could find some really good deals a lot of the mining bios cards dont display but are still recognized in windows. i have also bought cheap cards that had broken fans that were like 15$ usd to replace all the fans each. Every miner i know takes really great care of their hardware there are some that dont though they run em into the ground
crazy find man, completely bonkers. do you have a shop or something?? im from aus and am starting a new pc build soon. would be keen to buy one if thats something you offer
a similar story happened with the purchase of 50 Samsung 970 Evo plus 1 TB each - for 50 pieces they offered only $75 (about $2-2.5 per piece). Naturally, they all worked out x3 resource (750 TBW under warranty against the average worked out 1800 TBW) - they all turned out to be working.
"I thought I'd Vlog the whole process of potentially one of the best deals that I'm going to get in the history of tech." You Sir just made the history books
Those GPUs are toasted, they work yeah, but for how long until cores become unstable... Or some of the memory modules start to fail.. i would put asterix next to those when selling, to be transparent and fair
Amazing deal on 4070ti's can't be beat. I got a decent score to report. Bought on eBay $226.35 USD total delivered. I bid on an older ibuypower banger. It was listed as i7 8700, 512gb SSD, 16gb ram, GTX 1060 3gb. Kicker is I noticed the GPU in the pics was a RTX card. No other labeling to determine what model so I took a gamble. Ended up being HP OEM RTX 4060ti. Just delivered today I have a 1060 laying around im gonna toss it in and flip the ibuypower. Keeping the 4060ti for a higher end build.
O k don't get me wrong awesome deal but if you ever end up with a graphics card that was used for mining And you need to flash it to the original bios congratulations after the 24h2 update for windows 11 NVflash and atiflash and winflash are now labeled as malware.
I’ve gotten lucky with deals like that, but definitely not on this quantity scale! Best deal I’ve gotten was $400 usd for a 3070/13700k build. Flipped for close to $900 profit.
Great deal. However i was under the impression that now you are massaging outside of ebay (not using their chat) that buyer/sseller protection no longer applies? Could be wrong. I've not checked the terms recently
Nice vid, it was a great deal. Are you planning to sell some of those 4070Tis alone? I'm from Argentina and I can't even find a 4070 listed here for sale used. If you sell on ebay I can get it shipped to the US and a friend will bring it.
Do you believe the motherboards will support Intel 8000 and 9000? I know some of those mining motherboards can support more chips than the regular z270 or z370. And 6000-9000 are all on LGA 1151

Congrats on the deal, just to add to this, ive bought from know OCers and miners alike, for other peoples builds and my own, asuming the card is working they are always perfect function and last for years after the fact. Miners usualy just wanna dump there gear as the new gear comes out the ocers dump there gear because its not golden or because the testing has been done..
Just a curious question, would those two motherboards with that many 1x PCIE slots be great for a small business network storage or local backup? Think of how many SATA or SAS controllers those slots can hold!
Nah. You don't want those for that purpose. Those mining boards are pretty barebones and not really suited for something like TrueNAS. Get a LSI 9300-16i or something and connect 16 drives to whatever board...
The 4070 ti came out 3 months after Ether mining stopped. What's going on here? He also said these are 5 months old. Mining was long dead when he got them. These are stolen.
Having them run for 5 months just mining its better when it comes to thermal load on the GPU, yes its higher for a longer time but it remains the same (constant). Gaming GPU's used for gaming constantly get heated and cooled and repeat the process for a few times per day, so the chance for possible fatigue damage from thermal loads are higher on GPU's used for gaming than mining.
That backplate is warped on card too. It definitely got dropped and the 16 pin forcefully got yanked out from that. That is the only explanation for that kind of damage, that I can think of.
Already sold the episode 1 flip up challenge build! Episode 2 will begin soon (after all this new stuff coverage).

Unfortunately in Bulgaria this is very rare as the people who sell mining rigs try to pull a fast one selling 10s at MSRP.
Dang. Been searching for a 4070ti used for ages. Great find!
The dealer was late for the cryptoboom but laxy for the ai rush. Good bless your deals, wish you could review next gen with those newly acquired funds
Nuts somebody make a mining rig full of 4070ti.....I assume it was somebody new that quickly realized it was DOA
Crazy deal mate you got yourself that early christmas BONUS
Regarding the Intel Ultra 9 cpu ….. I’d love to see tested against the 14900k with performance and power efficiency usage in the same tests to see how more efficient, if much at all, Intels new CPUs are as I feel Intel needs to concede even a few % performance if they can get 20%+ great efficiency 🥰👍. And saying that, I’m a Ryzen 7950X3D & 5800X3D user 🤪😇😉
Nice score! 👍
Wow... Thats insane.. that would be perfect for my start into building.
Id buy one literally right now
16:15 thanks for being so nice and thinking about others :)
If everyone was like that I would've buy way more on second hands instead of new
What a steal!
Want to see the temps and the power consumption of that Intel part ASAP 😅
Awesome video! also thank you for the VIP-SCDkey recommendation
Deal of the century brian, Big bucks will be had on incoming builds :)
Thank you :)
P.s. I'm 1000% gallous for the good deal you got on the GPUs :)
Keep up the good work mate. Really love the content here
💌
thats a really good deal i have gotten a ton of super good deals buying cards from miners i know a lot of people that if they would just flash stock bios back onto a lot of the rx 400 and 500 cards from the modded mining bios they could find some really good deals a lot of the mining bios cards dont display but are still recognized in windows. i have also bought cheap cards that had broken fans that were like 15$ usd to replace all the fans each. Every miner i know takes really great care of their hardware there are some that dont though they run em into the ground
you honestly believe this story?
a 1000 dollar card times 13 being sold for 3500?
dream on.
crazy find man, completely bonkers. do you have a shop or something?? im from aus and am starting a new pc build soon. would be keen to buy one if thats something you offer
The image of all those gpus in the trunk is hilarious. I would add a white background and make that a wallpaper
a similar story happened with the purchase of 50 Samsung 970 Evo plus 1 TB each - for 50 pieces they offered only $75 (about $2-2.5 per piece). Naturally, they all worked out x3 resource (750 TBW under warranty against the average worked out 1800 TBW) - they all turned out to be working.
"I thought I'd Vlog the whole process of potentially one of the best deals that I'm going to get in the history of tech."
You Sir just made the history books
Love the new camera looks great
Only possible because these were stolen GPUS check serials for stolen
You’ve got some serious tech skills! Hope you’re running Windows 11 Pro on that rig to make the most of those GPUs
Damn, what a deal! Congrats!
Meanwhile I can't even find a 4060ti 16gb for under $400 here.
Late last year I bought a used Asus TUF Radeon RX 6800 off eBay for $300. It is currently being used in my main gaming rig. Absolutely love it.
Excelente información, muchas gracias por la recomendación❤
WTF! 😳 that is a crazy deal! Considering the gpus go for about $1300AUD each and get 13x 4070Tis for $3.5k 😅😂😂🤣 that’s criminal!
It's shocking, really have to wonder about the state of mind of the seller.
yep. quite literally criminal. I'm 99% certain these are stolen
Nice vid, it was a great deal. Are you planning to sell some of those 4070Tis alone? I'm from Argentina and I can't even find a 4070 listed here for sale used. If you sell on ebay I can get it shipped to the US and a friend will bring it.
Damn what a scoop ! Yes, we do take good care of our rigs to make them last longer and a better efficiency.
Do you believe the motherboards will support Intel 8000 and 9000? I know some of those mining motherboards can support more chips than the regular z270 or z370. And 6000-9000 are all on LGA 1151
This is why TechYesCity is unlike any other :D Love it. But also what happened to the Stinger?
Sold the stinger back in '22 for literally what I paid for it :P, then got the sonata for about $20k USD, its a 2.5L turbo, slightly better interior IMO, underrated car.
@@techyescity Oh wow, glad to hear you got to enjoy a Stinger without losing any value on it! The Tech Yes way :D. Oh dude totally agree, coincidentally I was checking out the Sonata on the Hyundai's website today and was like wow its a shame they aren't more common, great looking cars with great powertrains. Awesome stuff my bro, always a joy to watch your videos, thank you for making them!
Gas is very expensive in Australia. I get it.
These are treasures. The price of the GPU alone is crazy and the guy throw in some mining rig. Mindblowing!
a year ago i got a used power color fighter 6600xt for the price of a used 6600. i also got a used EVGA 500GD PSU for half off new and it still has an active transferable warranty. I haven't bought that much stuff used but i think I've got a few decent deals.
This is insane... ok my head just blew off. One, I need just one of theese at that price. You got 13!!!
i thought you were bleeding at 11:45 lol, those red spots on the table didnt look good. Then i noticed they werent moving and you put gpus on them
The 4070 ti came out 3 months after Ether mining stopped. What's going on here?
He also said these are 5 months old. Mining was long dead when he got them. These are stolen.
maybe
who cares for 3500 for 13x 4070ti....
He could be uninformed about mining profitability whey he bought them.
@@rompemord1 honestly he should have had the box too or he was sold by a friend
How long do you think it will take to put all those in rigs and get them sold?
Was it a b650e taichi lite motherboard, you tested the gpu's on?
Having them run for 5 months just mining its better when it comes to thermal load on the GPU, yes its higher for a longer time but it remains the same (constant). Gaming GPU's used for gaming constantly get heated and cooled and repeat the process for a few times per day, so the chance for possible fatigue damage from thermal loads are higher on GPU's used for gaming than mining.
That backplate is warped on card too. It definitely got dropped and the 16 pin forcefully got yanked out from that. That is the only explanation for that kind of damage, that I can think of.
