This will be the perfect Christmas present :) After 4.5 years of waiting, I’m so thrilled it’s finally here. What’s going to be extra exciting this time around is not going to be reflecting over years of path discovery and tweak optimization as in other rampages, but instead how the community has mercilessly shattered these ~150 levels in a relatively short amount of time, both from a pathfinding and execution lens. This set of levels honestly has it all; there’s a really healthy balance of short levels and long levels, but what every level has is extraordinarily more depth and complexity than in any other rampage previous. With all the moving parts, creative layouts, new level objective types, and the general move toward more Nintendo-like level design, a departure from the charming but simplistic MBG level design, these are bound to be some of the most complex, varied, and technically demanding runs we’ve seen yet. Thus, I predict this is truly gonna be an ocular spectacle to behold, and it honestly feels cruel we have to wait almost 3 more months… All that is to say I’m very hyped, and I can’t wait to see what the community has done to these levels :D Edit: Also glad to see the diversity of game modes being at a maximum (100%, Hunt, Nest Egg etc.)
Beyond stoked to see we’ve reached this point! This WRR is definitely going to be huge for the community - tons of people are appearing for the first time, and we finally get to witness the culmination of 4 years of effort, optimisation and a tidbit of luck (**cough cough** gravity tower *cough cough*). Can’t wait to see how it pans out :) P.S: Wiktor you got this, wrangle that 250 from exoplanet, you still have a month
