I'm a Ford guy to death, and my dream classic car is also a 69/70 Chevelle with a 454. I got my first dream car, 2014 Mustang GT vert. My true dream car is a 2003/04 Terminator Cobra. Aiming for the Cobra next, but I got 4 years to go to pay off my Coyote.
Appreciate a video like this, kudos to those who submitted their sound clips to make this video happen. I only wish we had rolling sound clips of all the setups to really give us a sense of how they sound hah. Hardest part about deciding for me is the mid pipe (x or h since h's deep muscle tone sounds real good but the scream of x also sounds dope under wot), and the cams.
I have a 2009 GT california special (in auto) and i’m thinking of getting hot rod cams for it. It already has LTB and an off-road x-pips, but i don’t know if i should keep going with the auto or if i should find a manual
Are your outlaw mufflers mid mounted(just before the over axle pipe)or are they in the factory axleback position ? I run an o/r H and I Kind of wish I would’ve mid mounted my outlaws instead of putting them in the factory axleback spot.
I have the Flowmaster Outlaws Catback. They go over the axles. Connecting to my Mid H Pipe. I changed my Offroad Xpipe to a Catted H now. However the Outlaws are over Axels
My 3v shoulda been number 16# lol kooks long tubes jegs catless h-pipe pypes 409 over axle pipes and pypes axleback muffler deletes nothing beats a 3v sound
You want a damn good exhaust setup for your 05-09 3v’s? Kooks headers, kooks high flow cats, and roush extreme performance exhaust. thank me later! The only downside to it is it’s about 4K for it all kooks headers will run you 1k, high flow cats will run you almost 2k and the roush exhaust will be about 1000$

3v has to be one of the best sounding mustang if not the best 💯
My personal favorite is the 2v but the 3v does not sound bad

Thats entirely up to you. I love my manual but I also know with the right mods an Auto could be faster.

does anybody know how a pypes cut n clamp x pipe with just a muffler delete would sound? trying to go the cheapest route for a loud aggressive sound
Probably a little raspy, but with mufflers, it may sound a little deep, too.
