Cris is 100% right about draft. Giving the highest MMR player the draft bans is a no brainer. The player with the most to lose will take it more seriously than the guy who thinks it’s best not to ban anything because of an arbitrary honor code.

My biggest draft complaint is that it takes so ungodly long. Why is it that each selection takes 20 seconds, then bans are individually 20 seconds, then a 45 second wrap up post selection. The game is only 8-10 minutes long and I spent 5+ in queue + waiting for the draft to be over. I'd also like to try highest MMR last, so at the very least the player with the most points can be the anchor to look at the other team and see what might be needed and/or counter the enemies. I hate first picking a carry just to have the enemy be able to pick 4-5 mons that would counter me and my team picks 3 more attackers and a special stacking umbreon.
To be honest, I thought draft was meant to allow everyone to vote for the pokemon that they wanted banned, so I was kind of surprised when it was just the lowest MMR players who got to decide.
For now there isn't that much Pokémon to have a full ban from each player. We need at least 10-20 new Pokémon so that not every game is with the same Pokémon
As the frequent lowest player in master's games: don't give me that responsibility. I have no clue what's going on. I've only been playing for like 3 months. All I know is to ban darkrai right now. I want to win, too, and if that means handing that responsibility to someone else I would gladly do it. Just give me a pass button or something.
They could just put a "ready" button on draft that would cut the waiting time when everyone clicked it. It feels so bad to wait so much just to someone be butthurt when they don't get that one piece of farm and stays the rest of the match at the base.
Bro some players don't even click the pokemon they wanna ban. They wait for the timer to end and so that the game auto bans it thats just a waste of time bro. By the end of the match it's been 30 minutes already. Like wtf. Just to say... there are players who don't even ban a pokemon. All that just makes me hate those matches.
@@HaldricsfuryI'll always do that. I prefer to lose 5 min than another 5 until surrender vote or even the whole match. If I'm the highest MMR of the team I'm obligated to pick the broken character available so enemy team doesn't and the rest of the team should provide a tank at least but no, it only happens in enemy team because mine is full of brainless people.
I noticed on an A9 video that Cris is not the pokemon master of every Pokémon and I should watch videos of Pokémon I don’t play so I don’t think like a sweaty neck beard and back seat game.

I’m love the draft matches that we go through the entire process, just for someone to afk after loading and we have to remake the match.

High MMR does not mean good at deciding bans
High MMR has the correlation of being better at the game, at least when you start losing more per loss than you do per win.
