Such an interesting take on drawing these ecosystems! I really like the idea of the jungle trees with vines and the grass with cattails and may incorporate those into my map drawing. The volcanoes are awesome, too, and may go into future maps.

very cool how your drawing style matches your personality - very open friendly and dynamic! thanks again for another great video - when drawing my own maps it took me a bit to figure out the 'jungle' trees and I found the creeper vines hanging down did the trick

This video has helped me immensely in my map-making, particularly your wetlands.
My style tends to have more fussy details than yours - I've only recently learned to scale it back to avoid that overdone "muddy" look. But I still have problems with water effects. Actually my water, cloud, and flame renderings are all distressingly similar, with nothing distinctive enough to definitively say "This is water, that is fire, those over there are clouds."
I can't describe it, but something about the ripples in your wetlands just "clicked" with me. You know that feeling when you see an image and suddenly you can wrap your head around what you've been getting wrong all this time? Well, that's what happened with me.
I've had the video paused at 8:22 for the longest time, doodling and exploring this new insight and trying to unlearn my old patterns. And then while typing this comment. And I just noticed the video has around a minute and a half left. It's been waiting for me for probably an hour now! 😋
edit: Whoa! Color! 😁 Most cool!

What about drawing danger zones for crocodile in parts of a river, or lions, monkeys, elephants, snakes, etc, or to maybe designate dangerous animals or hunting areas for buffalo?

Palm are herbs, not trees. They have a stem, not a trunk. ;) The blackened lava is a great and easy detail!
