One of the best ascent's up that Dickey Bell I have seen. Your pace, and line choice was very good. Most people lack the discipline to keep from punching the gas.
Great video. I will definitely be taking the Red Beast Wagon there soon. Probably will wait until I get my WKO frame mounted rock sliders on (hopefully in around 3-4 weeks from now). However it does look like I would clear it okay now with my current rocker panel mounted sliders that I have. But it would be more fun not worrying about thrashing those new sliders on some rocks.
Yeah, it's a great idea to have armor on the bottom side! There are a few trails that can really wreck that area of your rig if it's not protected. Uwharrie is a blast though, you will have so much fun!
@@GoCarolinaWild I am fully armored up now with frame mounted rock sliders, the normal PW skid plates and a Dethloff Mfg engine-transmission armor plate. Getting 38s installed next week. 🎉
Might have to drive my new 2024 Colorado zr2 over to Caroline this fall up go driving in uwharrie on them trails. Going soon to upgrade from 33" to taller 305/70r17 almost 35 inch tires. Want to see how good my front and rear electronic locking differentials work. I bought my truck in that unique harvest bronze metallic color. Over the pretty sand duke metallic color.
Let us know if you ever come out this way, we love uwharrie! I have heard alot of good things about the zr2, and from what it sounds like, you got a nice truck and a good setup! We love the rhino wheels, just wish they were beadlock. Thanks so much for the comment and checking out our video!
@GoCarolinaWild great job Katie! My wife did the same to me. Now it's her jeep! I took her wheeling in Utah and Colorado and lost my rig now. She worth it.
That's hilarious! We are hoping that one day we can get a second Jeep so that we can both be driving the trails together! Love that your wife fell in love with it too. It definitely makes it more exciting when you can share your passion for something with your spouse!
Planning on doing this later in the year after it opens back up. What was the campground y’all stayed at? Also how are y’all liking the Opus? Picking up ours in a few weeks
We stayed at Badin Lake campground. You can also camp off certain trails, too! We are loving the Opus! It's definitely one of the best investments we have made to accommodate our outdoor lifestyle.
Offroading delight in every rev and splash. Nature's obstacles bow to the thrill of conquering."

If you come north, I will meet you in Pennsylvania to hit 5 badge trails
We would definitely love to do that! When??
@@GoCarolinaWild let's plan something for early spring?

I like them rhino wheels on your jeep. I am thinking about buying either green colored or the bronze colored rhino wheels for my zr2 truck.
