You forgot medical services. Hands down kl. When you are dying in saigon, you will remember kl.

Yeah we missed medical services... may be in some future videos we might include. KL is definitely far ahead, but to be honest there are some good international hospital and medical centres in saigon. I got dental check ups there and it want bad. Although I wouldn't have much idea about serious operations etc

Malaysian here! Loved saigon went there few years ago but grass are greener on the other side😂😂 The people was nice, some people can speak decent malay and it wasnt that hot compared to kl. However it was a challange to find halal food. Both countries win!

Considering Vietnam was just out of their war time misery around 40 years back, I'll give a thumbs up for them for what they have achieved so far. Btw as a kid i had witnessed a big ship full load of Vietnamese refugees back in the late 70s at the shore of east coast Malaysia.

One thing u didn't mention (probably because it's not relevant to u and your travels) are the petrol prices. The price of petrol per litre in Malaysia is HALF the price of petrol in Vietnam. So if u plan to drive around with your own vehicle, Malaysia is a lot cheaper. Malaysia's petrol price is the 4TH lowest per litre in Asia and 9TH lowest in the world. In that sense, I don't get why GRAB taxis are cheaper in Vietnam. I think We Malaysians need to come together and complain harder with the GRAB prices haha😂

@@aungmyintoo4635 well in KL it is easier to find halal food, u can hear the azan 5x a day, no issues to find a place to pray as there are many mosques and musollas can be found in every malls and most office buildings. The toilets mostly have bidets because Muslims need to wash up after nature calls. It is not Saudi Arabia but calling it NYC is a long stretch. I don't think the public will take it too kindly if somebody started a rally supporting Israel or decided to do a LGBTQ parade in the middle of KL. So I dont think KL is as 'liberal' as that and for the majority Muslims here, we want it to remain that way.

Don't be sick. This family is trying to figure out which city and country is the best place to call their new home. Perhaps, a comparison between Australia where they came from, with Bangladesh, India or Pakistan, and the other Commonwealth countries, could give some sense of direction. You don't have to watch their comparison videos, you have a choice of freedom.

People compare. That’s natural. It’s not unique to KL alone. People have their own preferences and more dangerously hidden agendas. However comparison videos by short term travelling vloggers are not as reliable as those made by the natives themselves. They are also not as objective simply because they are vloggers not some professional travel experts. The best way is to buy a plane ticket to Saigon, live there a few years before you make the comparisons yourself. I usually give vloggers’ reviews a pass. There is no need to be emo. I have been to KL thousands of times, Saigon and Hanoi twice but if I am given a choice where to live I would still choose my hometown Tloh. Different grasshoppers prefer different fields. Hence I don’t mind if they put KL worse than let say Temerloh, I am living in Tloh where I rate Tloh to be better than KL, Calcutta or Tokyo 😊😊. However it’s your unpleasant reaction that gives KL a bad name. Some vloggers might be neutral to your reaction but many others might turn vengeful.

Being educated people its quite a wonder you could not pronounce Kuala Lumpur properly.
    Its not Kuala Lampor.
All the letter 'U's in Kuala Lumpur are pronounced like U in sugar.
No wonder you don't have that many subscribers.

@@tinydetouras you can see there are ULTRA Malay Malaysians. This one apparently doesn't have the finesse in him. Apologies on behalf of cultured Malaysians.

It's okay, buddy... no need to apologise. We have chosen this path, and growing a thick skin is a part of it 😉

I like the country side of vietnam, just hope it’s easier to get halal food. Other than that, I like Vietnam.

this is all good but when you chose to travel you cannot expect things to be like at home right? Vietnamese are not Muslims, why imposing them your lifestyle?
