That last tool that you showed that holds the cardboard. I was spraying today holding cardboard behind what I was spraying which was incredibly awkward. This wasn't the first time I thought "there has to be a better way and things I tried to rig were not great. I'm buying that.
I've subscribed, and watched a lot of videos in the past month, and I just want to say your editing, filming, and quality have gotten so much better over time. would you use the gloves on spindles on an interior banister? I just finished a job where the spindles were a real pain. the ball mixer doesn make sense to me. You can mix mud right in the pan with a drywall knife.
The cardboard shield holder, great! I am tired of using metal shields! Never knew they had one until I watched this video. I just ordered one. I started my painting business this year. I’m looking forward to trying it out really soon!
That painters mitt would have saved my bacon more than once . Would be great for industrial painting in pipe racks doing 2" water, nitrogen lines and painting around pipe flanges around the bolts and nuts and also valves. I wonder if the MIT can be used with epoxy paints or carbomastic paints?
@@240x9 I agree I Was A Union Taper for years , do that mixing of hot mud in your pan . Mitts work but so does an o look d sweat sock rubber glove underneath .
That mitten is *phenomenal!* Painting handrails is not only incredibly tedious and boring but very, very time consuming (I paint I don't spray), it's almost depressing because it so repetitive.
2 Thumbs up from us, great work guys! All the tools displayed are awesome & I was particularly impressed with the oven mitt because Zack was cookin those spindles on high heat 🔥🎨
Thanks all these tips and videos help me since i am new to paint buisness. I am 21 and theres plenty of money to make no expierene im looking around 100-150 expierenced maybe 200-250 a day
What helps us cut down on clean up time is clean up as you go like don’t leave old masking paper and used up tape cores laying around we used to do this and clean it all up at the end of the job terrible mistake takes forever, now we mostly just have drops to pick up and shake out still takes forever tho seems like 😂
The Mit is very handy but if you were using it for oil very faint a lot of the hair and sticks to the railings that's the only downside I've experienced with it
Would the mit work on wood spindles? I'm about 1/4 of the way through painting mine...and I'm over it!! Lol This would be awesome if it worked on wood🤞🤞
I presume you tried Bridgette ... if so, how did that work out? I'd have thought interior wood would be less forgiving. For oiling socks would work well ...
@@SmileyBlue69 it actually worked amazing!!!! I have a mit from spray tanning and it worked so well!!! Lol Even my dad who owns a paint store, was extremely impressed. Lol

Hey chris, do you guys have a po box or an adress where i can ship you something? I have a piece of equipment that i have recently found and really enjoy, and think you guys would aswell!
I used the mitt in the UK over 35 years ago on railings.
Black gloss ,oil based.
As you say one use then bin it.
That oven mitt sure beats the hell out of masking and spraying those railings
@Esoteric NomadI want to spray my inside carpeted stairs. What items would I need and how would I do it without getting spray (mist?)everywhere.
I used the paint mitt back in the 80's on metal railing. A big time saver.
Chris tells Zack to explain it.... Zack explains it completely... Then Chris repeats everything Zack said with 100 extra words 🤣😂🤣

I read alot of the comments on Facebook and it looks like there are alot of jealous @$$holes in the painting industry lol.
These videos are great! Thank you for helping out the other painters! Many, many thanks! :)
You are so welcome!

Been use a sock for many years instead of the glove. Works great and can control how much paint your getting out of bucket

Man, I've got to get me that cardboard shield holder. Great tool!
Yes a must have!
great information
I need that mit!
I'm just picturing the reaction I'll get from my boss(a 25-year painting vet) when I show up to his job site with a ball, a spatula, and an oven mitt.
Lol

I wonder if that Painters Mitt would work for applying oil to a wooden wrap around porch.
The first thing I thought was this would be great for oiling wood. But I'd start with using socks as seems they work as well if not better.
Do y’all have a video on cleanup? I always feel like it takes me forever

painters mitt is a joke, use an old sock turned inside out.. WAY better finish, obviously use latex glove underneath sock 😁
They also use that in prison, its called a fifi
Make a video using your old sock
The example showed metal spindles..will the sock work successfully on carved wood spindles in a timely fashion..
Can the mIx mudball be use to mix compound with plaster of paris?
Actually it's a staining mitt.mainly used for staining doors, tables ECT...
How well does the snake spray on rough stucco?
