Something a little funny for everyone. I was laying in bed, listening to this episode a little right before bed. Forgot to take my headphones off and started to doze off...then Omnimaw spoke. I went from almost fast asleep to standing on my bed looking for the demon that's come to kill me. Well done on that voice, Monty.

Best DND boss fight I have seen EVER. I don't know how Monty will top this one, granted I thought that the last several boss fights.
This reminds me of something out of the game Brutal Legends.That voice at the end was also great. Loved the whole thing.
It was directly inspired from it. Monty mentioned she watched Distortion Devil playing Brutal Legends and said he wanted something like that in the campaign. She granted his wish

His stats do not work well as a Paladin though... they work better as a Cleric or Warlock...

It might be best for Panic to get to Bard 10 before swapping classes so he can get Magical Secrets and Level 5 spells. Beyond that, I'm tempted to say go Warlock for the dual Charisma powers, though Paladin has that too, and Cleric has some powerful abilities going for it.

They aren’t here to multiclass to kill faster. Gaijin said that if any multiclass happens, it’s meant to fit the narrative and them just having fun.
@@spoontheguy5397 They can be character driven and be good from a meta perspective. I'm just saying my piece on the second, it is still the player's decision and I won't claim authority, but I also like making character and theorizing concepts so I can get going sometimes.

If I remember right, Panic's mom told the boys that things don't stay dead in the plane of discord; basically they respawn somewhere else after they die.
So they didn't need to be *that* worried about Scarlet and Panic's devils.
Theyres a difference between them being killed as in destroyed physically and them starving out i think.

As cool as that would be, if he takes Warlock he'll probably go with fiend since he'd be a warlock of Omnimaw. Wouldn't make sense to see them next episode and he suddenly go "By the way, I met this weird talking rapier and made a pact with it when you guys weren't looking."
@@alphaxtitania5597 well his guitar is some kind of minor celestial that he get to design so he could have it be a figuratived and literal axe. So not completely out of the realm of possibility

I know that they've been ruling it the same way since the beginning of the campaign, but it is a little sad how they've nerfed Task, only give him one hunters mark damage per turn. Given, one extra d6 isn't much, but it adds up after a long combat like this one. Though, I guess they changed out the damage every shot for the ability to switch it between targets at will, instead of just when things die.

Someone tell monty that it's extremely easy to track HP on Roll 20. She stresses out over it so much that she apparently hired an assistant. But all you need to do is like, click the enemy token, enter its max hp and then when it gets hit, just enter minus and then the damage it took. It couldn't be any easier...
Monty does all of her tracking and enemy stats using paper IRL, she doesn't use Roll20 for that stuff
Then she only has herself to blame. When you're provided with an easier way of doing something and you insist on doing it the hard way, you get no right to complain.

I believe though that devils and demons can't truly be killed though they just get bashed back to the hell they came from but they are already in the brass devils home plane so I think it would have been fine if it died

I don't know if it's just on my end, but can someone please balance out the audio here to be on the equivalent of night mode for a TV so I can hear everyone? It's been really fustrating for all the other videos I listen to to be super loud where I have to turn it down to almost nothing and this channel to be almost silent.
The voices that are loudest are Takahata101, and sometimes Zito. The softest (unless they really raise their voices) are Monti and Conner. Goomba is so-so, depends on if he's talking in character or not.

I wonder how hard it would be to make a bot that does what Darien was doing today. Keeping track of HP pools using a voice recognition and parsing "Kobold 1: 5 damage" and the like wouldn't be *too* difficult to set up (for those who know what the fuck they're doing, meaning "not me") and I don't think tying a stat block display to a voice command would be that difficult either.
Trickiest bit would probably be teaching it pronunciation of terms. You'd need to set it up such that it could reference a recording of you saying it, because I doubt most speech to text parsers would be able to handle terms like (loads up a list of official stat blocks) Aarakocra, Aboleth, Acererak, Dracolich, Kruthik, Oblex, (and that's just down to as far as the "Adult ____"s on an alphabetized list.)
You also cant use an off hand attack unless you use your action to attack.
