    I saw this tour 3 times in California. The Metallica one as well with GNR. I also saw the original lineup once opening for The Rolling Stones in LA.
    It was exciting times back then. No cellphones, just amazing memories. 🙌🏼

    All it' s happened in rock music in the years, showed to all the world they' re the best rock band of all times. Their legendary music is so actual and cool today like in the past ....and I think in the future....

      @mrmaxaxl ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes they were good, but they made way too few records to really make a big impact. All because of one man.
      Now they have been "reunited" since 2016 and still no new album.

      @@mrmaxaxl I know what you say....I think their break changes many things, blocked their work.. ( and this is sad to me) but the hig level and quality of records left us by them it still over the top. Their way to do rock still amazing against every other band. I think so, of sure this is my opinion. Nirvana, for different reasons ( Kurt' s death) still amazing without many albums...They' re my two favourite bands...

      @@barbarascaccini3182 Absolutely! Appetite is one of the greatest rock n' roll records ever! Axl's voice was absolutely insane. Nobody could sound like him, and what a stage presence! 😊

      @@mrmaxaxl Yes absolutely true!!! Yheur music never bored me. Axl is a true artist and a true rockstar at the same time. All them was rockstars. The way to play guitar of Slash is really unique ( stage presence included), but also Izzy gives to the band great quality with his magic voice and the way to sing, the presence ( in his way...) , Duff a great bass player and a good singer. Steven with his incredible way to play.... Each single member was so important in the band and together maked something magic.....they seems a true family... I' m sorry for their losed years...thank you and bye!

    Oh my God this is great! Thank you so much for sharing this with us. I never saw this before. Any footage like this from the UYI era is so rare. For some reason, the UYI era still has this mystique to it. People want more video like this and hope Axl will find it within his heart someday to let never before seen concert footage from this era.

      Your right it sure does. I think it's because a lot of us were in the beginning stages of the teenage years or early 20s when this came out. I was only 10-11 and was a huge fan! Also because it was the end of Guns n" Roses as we knew them forever...😢

    30 years later they still haven't made that "original guns record"! Instead they reunited to milk as much out of what remains of Axl's voice and fans' willingness to pay super expensive ticket prices.

    • @germaniumrocker
      @germaniumrocker  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, that´s a tuff one!
      I would love to hear a new Guns N Roses album that would knock my socks off. However i do think that those who are willing to shell out for a ticket these day don´t wanna hear a new album. It won´t be tha same (or close).
      The band are older, we are older and we have a huge "number of years" with nostaligia attached to it. If you buy a expensive ticket, you wanna boogie!!! Give me this hits god dam it!!!
      Imagine 3 hour concert with Guns N Roses and two of them are solos and new stuff. In the solo section we also have 10 minutes of somebody scrathing a record and pushes buttons with sound effects....... :)
      And Axls voice, don´t get me started ;)
      However i would love to hear a new album where they try use Axels voice as it should be for someone in the 60s. Get rid of the "hamster in overdrive"-voice and growl like a hobo instead.
      At least it would be genuine and real. That whats rock n roll is about!

    • @phillipwhite4741
      @phillipwhite4741 ปีที่แล้ว

      Don’t think there really doing it for money these days , could be wrong but after seeing them last week ( For free) I think it’s about keeping busy/purpose
      They acutely were enjoying it like a good memory

    • @germaniumrocker
      @germaniumrocker  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@phillipwhite4741 Offcourse they are doing it for the money. And hopefully doing it while having fun too!
      The shear cost to get any band (like GnR) on the road is astronomical. Somebody is gonna make money and why should GnR (or any band for that matter) play for free
      while the promoter is getting a big chunk?
      But as i said, i hope they are having fun AND the audience ;)
