  • F5B SpeedFIRE 2 HOTLINER [*UltraHD and 4K*]
    The ultimate in hotliners. Made in the Czech Republic by the masters, F5B. Powered with a Neu brushless motor which gives it blistering performance in climbs which leaves it to descend and perform aerobatics with the distrinctive 'zzzing' as it wing cuts through the air with its thin section.
    Available here,
    www.f5b.cz/en/k...
    Filmed at the Ramsey MAC Fly-In with the Panasonic AG-UX180 4K camcorder.

    I can't believe how slow that landed... I'm actually a bit shocked, I'd always imagined they would have to come in very hot.
    I really want to fly something like that one day and now seeing that I think its definately achievable.

    how does the Avionic compare to the Speedfire? I can not find a speedier, but soaring USA has avionic B17's. I like the way the speed fire goes both fast and slow, and would like to find a plane that does that! Great flying BTW!

    Hard to follow or what? :D That is an Impressive plane though :)
    Interesting propellor!

      Crazy hard to follow. Was just listening for the sound so could point the camcorder vaguely in the right direction. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

    Darn it.. had to skip to 3:55 to see it flying at a slow phase! :D

    We enjoy watching these being flown at our club field. I'm also pleased to see you having trouble following. Even without a camera in our hands we have too follow the sound. Fast is not a word for it. Ballistic. In recent years these have become a firm favourite....... Cheers Dom!

      I was just pointing the cam in the vain hope of catching it in the viewfinder after he launched it. Miracle I got any of it on cam :>) Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

    Timers have been set up by Alan for competition use. So they may seem over the top for sports flying. What camera are you using Essential RC please. Footage looks good. Can you set the focus on infinite? We have being trying capture good footage of F5B plans using head cams. It works well but the optical length means they look too far away or very small in the footage.

      I use a Panasonic AG-UX180 Pro 4K camcorder Greg. Yes, you can set focus infinity. It has lots of clever focus assist features as well to keep the subject sharp. Cheers Dom (Essential RC)

    I really want to get into flying these planes. But I'm used to flying slow foamies... I have no idea where to start! I Was looking at buying a hawk 3 revolution from hobbyhorizon because it's a complete kit at a decent price....but even that looks scary fast and expensive to fix..

    That frame was cracked and fixed already. I wonder was the wing a new one. There isnt much to repair when full speed meets the earth.

      If he landed badly or perhaps in a farming area, Its possible only the fuse cracked, or its also possible he destroyed the wing and repaired the fuse.

    How do you not know the motor? It is not like you have 10 of these, and if you did... well, then this is not the one you would show to the world :-). I have no doubt you can completely own this plane without knowing the motor name, so just trolling :-). Great flight, tracking was spot on (but, eh, try throwing in some tricks? This is not a real F5B plane, if by real you mean competitive, so have some fun!). But still the video was still fun. I can't say been there done that Re: motor knowledge/application (who picked that motor? I would go at least 1512 on a 2M carbon plane, this sounds like a 11XX series!). But things have changed a lot and I am replying to a 2 year old video.

      I just filmed the flight buddy. Not my rc plane.

    • @hotliner2872

      Oh, that makes sense... I was just not buying a good pilot with a non-kit plane not knowing what engine they stuffed in it. My apologies.

      Just randomly re-watched this... I am not commenting on whomever filmed this, but on the words coming out of the mouth of the guy being filmed. The filmer (Essensital RC) asked a great question... what motor are your running (after the guy being filmed was already a bit rude IMHO)...and the guy being filmed, the pilot, does not know. That is odd, to not know WTF you are flying....

    • @hawk5084
      @hawk5084 ปีที่แล้ว

      You should comment like that after you know how to deal with real 10s 8Kw hotliners Watts😅

    • @hotliner2872
      @hotliner2872 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@hawk5084 Any fool can 'deal with real 10s 8Kw hotliners'... just don't turn a lot. I see a lot of that. Not very exciting, but everyone has their limits and learning turning ability is not for everyone and speed is a cheap substitute...

    This is not for you its for accomplished glider pilots who live a😑sport not toy players or rtf or arf sport fliers. Please stay out of our sport go back to foam...stay. fly and quit...
