That landing was nice! So satisfying.
I'm sure its easier to tell in person, but as someone who flys RCs myself I feel that little beast would be extremely hard to tell its orientation! I'd be painting the top and bottom some very bright neon colors. Props to the pilot!
Bottom of wing has broad yellow and black stripes. Still not easy to see though.

Nice flying and really impressive camera work. Not easy tracking something moving that fast! An advantage of the turbine versus piston model engines is you don't need to wipe the castor oil of the plane when done flying. Nice post!

So correct me if I am wrong, but is that a 2 channel glider with a turbine mounted on it?! No ailerons?? That reminds me of when I mounted a .65 OS Max motor to the nose of my first glider, a Wanderer. That was my introduction to flying gas power rc aircraft, some 30+ years ago! And Im still flying birds of all kinds today!

Did it need some extra aid like 3-axis gyros or other stabilization systems to fly such as fast?
Nope these guys are hardcore and they don't use stabilisation.
Missed maximum airspeed by cutting those circuits so short.
I was waiting and hoping for max altitude climb, turn then steep descent to high speed fly by at max airspeed low level on the deck .
Maybe this was a maiden to confirm characteristics were sound ? That would be understandable then .
How is the lateral CG? Placement of the turbine obviously very limited on this airframe

No fpv? All that hotness, and no onboard camera. They are like 4 grams of weight now guys. That would be a wicked onboard ride, its just another turbine model from the ground. Nice carbon and heat shield.

Go Pro would maybe not be the best idea because chunky and might add a lot of drag. Maybe a little FPV camera like the drone racers

I'm curious as to why they put the engine infront of the center of lift? Am I over thinking how much was done to this thing cause it seems like they took a glider and retrofitted a jet engine to it.

The first one to do that might very well be a glider, the dynamic soaring ones can already peak in the transsonic region
Which that practically is. Except that nudging the transonic is very different to getting through the transonic into supersonic.

Wellllll.... I use to do rc cars and if these engines are like the nitro engines I don't know I think these turbines are probably even more difficult to run and trouble shoot than the nitro car and plane engines total pass was cool though nice landing...
