    Hello Jayson. Thank you so much for this, it's a very informative video. However, here are my questions:
    The first one is:
    I have enough funds to pay my tuition fees for the one year program that I will be doing. I have two cousins who live near the college(Algonquin College) I will be going to and they're even ready to host me but they're refugee claimants so I was wondering if this couldn't be a reason of study permit refusal. Do you know anything about this ? Will I still need to give a proof of funds if I have someone to host me ?
    And last but not least,
    since I will be doing a one year program (Project Management) that includes a Co-op part and a one-year pgwp, do you think that, in my case, one year is enough or less to aspire to becoming a permanent resident ? What tips and recommendations would you give me about this ?

    • @JaysonJim
      @JaysonJim  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mae Jab's thanks for watching and for the comment. I super appreciate that. With regard to your concern:
      1. Do your cousins support your POF? Can you elaborate, what do you mean “host”? Is it just for accommodation.
      If so, they can provide a letter indicating that you will live in their house if ever.
      2. To be honest, eapecially this pandemic season, I always recommend to aspiring international students to take 2-yr program as yku can get 3yrs PGWP and I am positive that it is enough for PR pathway.
      That is just my opinion. But if you really want to do 1 yr, it is up to you but you must work hard especially looking for a fulltime job with at least NOC B.
      I also recommend to try to work in service industry as it is easier to be promoted.

      I really appreciate 🙈🙈
      1. Yes, they're willing to provide a shelter for me not cover my expenses but at least my accommodation, meals per day and that's all.
      2. Is there any other way of applying for PR after one year program that includes co op may be via express entry ?

    thank you Jayson, your videos are always informative.what advice would you give to me; I only have high school diploma from my country and I took 6yrs away from school to work and save for my further education.i would like to apply to a college in Canada majoring in hospitality management as I have work experience in that field. is it advisable to get two years diploma in this field as I think 4 years UG program is too long for me?I was thinking of doing 2yrs diploma then work for a year and continue studying after.

      matilda matthews thanks for watching even if it is in my mother tongue. That is why I made sure that English subtitle is there. Thanks for the comment, I really appreciate that.
      I suggest to study for 2 yr diploma. But not sure about your high school credentials. Most of colleges require at least secondary education graduate which is comparable to Canada. What I suggest is to choose for a DLI and program and ask the school if they are allowing international student with your credentials.

    Just wanna ask if it's okay for me to take Business Management Certificate in Canada, even if my Degree and work experience in the Philippines is Engineering?
