What is amazing to me are the numbers that bone stock V-6’s make nowadays. I bought my son a 2015 Camaro....little did I know, that little beast packs a near 325 hp punch with NO MODS! Then, doing a little research....add long tube headers, SS Camaro exhaust, throttle body, relocating air temperature sensor, and a stupid East bolt on turbo kit and a good tune job....with still a little boost left over (if needed) can make 610 hp! Man, that car runs like what a well built 350 ran in the late 60’s to early 70’s was capable of... Needless to say, I’m gonna get my son something a little less intimidating.... The straight shift driver (well, automatic, as well) need a bit more practice changing gears...once they get that down, they will be surprised just how quick their cars can be! I had a little 86 model S-10 with a .030 350, 041 heads, 292 Comp camshaft, Performer RPM intake, 780 Vacuum Secondary Holly carb, 1:7 roller rockers, 410 gears w a Richmond traction unit (the one used by rock crawlers..so simple to swap the traction unit) and 100 octane low lead av fuel...the little S-10 was running 7.90’s in 1/8 mile....the good thing was it was a daily driver. I put a quick swap secondaries spring set up on it to keep it a bit more tame on the street, since it was a daily driver. The little primer black beat up S-10 really loved having scrambled eggs and Mustangs for breakfast!

Australian car versus American car
Well, if we're going to be pedants about it, Australian car versus Canadian car.
@@entropy156 Atleast the Canadian Muscle Cars 🇨🇦 looks a million times better than the Australian Muscle Cars 🇦🇺 Eh.
@@CJColvin well, as a current owner of a GTO and former owner of one of Brampton's Finest, I can't argue there.
The GTO looks like a bmw
That's because it's a rebadged Holden Monaro from Australia mate.
@@CJColvinso? what does that have to do with looking like a BMW?
i dont get it
Nitto Nt555 G2s are hot garbage. If you make any horsepower stay away! I have these on my mustang GT and I couldn’t hook for shit. I almost crashed because they didn’t give me traction. Unless you’re going to be doing a burnout before you leave your house or you don’t do straight line spirited driving, these tires are for you
They have the nt555r2 on the rear in this video the newest drag radials the g2 were on the front. The drag radials hook pretty good
I have a 2002 gtp
Bad comparison. Both should’ve been auto .
My uncle race a challenger rt
Almost half The time 💀
why was he going so slow
This gto has 375 WHEEL hp...that is a long ways from 325 CRANK prob 100 hp difference between them lol. No new v6 without turbos is pushing that kinda power.
This is basically a Canadian Muscle Car 🇨🇦 vs an Australian Muscle Car 🇦🇺, the only American Muscle Car 🇺🇸 left is the 5.0 Mustang.
Forza I’m sure😂😂
Tough decision🤔 in this hyperinflation FJB economy, I am not going to buy either. I want a challenger, I love the GTO & the awesome GM vehicle ( I own a dodge& GMC truck's) I will not deplete my $ in this Shitty economic debacle to buy either car. I like being debt free & my driveway is already full.😌 Let's Go brandon & get America Back on track. FJB & the left.💩
Amen Brother
Ah still going to get a GTO why? Timeless! FJB
I'm miss my Goat it was murdered by a careless driver 😪😢😠
375 hp goat? Talking rwhp?
yup sounds about right for an intake/exhaust ls2
Goats are pretty quick. Can’t get past the cheap steering wheel. GrandAm/Bonneville/ Sunfire/Corsica hybrid mutation disaster of a front end just doesn’t cut the mustard. Ass end is nice, the face is fugly
personal opinion Check out a Monaro same car different front. Its got much cleaner look.
@@bourbonslurpee I know and thats I've said many many times that the 04-06 GTOs are nothing but rebadged Holden Monaros from Australia (which there for not real true Pontiacs unlike the GTOs from the 1960s).
Honestly, that's why I've kept the appalling aftermarket billet grill that was on my car when I bought it. I *want* people to misidentify what it is. I want them thinking "V6 commuter slug" rather than "spicy LS2".
