I’ve had my Citroen C3 Aircross now for 2years I have the pre face lifted model and as mentioned one of the biggest omitions is the fact they have no cup holders I have the phone charge mat if you don’t have that you do get two cup holders but they are hopeless too shallow…having said that I have all the options with the exception of leather I find leather to cold in winter to hot in summer…the grip control is excellent as long as you don’t think you can follow a Land Rover it’s just meant for poor road conditions and for that its excellent as is the hill decent…I love the way it drives it gives me great pleasure and still manages to do that two years on…it’s very capable roadholding makes it treat to drive over the Welsh hills and the 1.6 diesel that I have is very frugal I get regularly 60+ mpg …the breaks are very good some complain of the gear change but once your used to it it’s fine mine is the 5speed and the ratios are very good you really don’t need the 6 gears on offer…on the whole it’s an excellent vehicle one I’d find hard to replace except with another air Ross so it looks like come change time I’ll be replacing with like for like and yes a diesel as well…this idea of diesels being dirty really is just a load of crap…the euro 6 emotions that I have (it’s got addblue) I’ve checked it with my local MOT guy and he could not get a reading he had to pass it as too clean to read….you’d never get a reading like that on a petrol car….to sum up I love it
This Citroen is very interesting and I think one of the most underrated cars in Poland. Thanks for great review! And merry Christmas to you and Ania !! 🎄🎄🎄
Zawsze lubiłem cię oglądać, ale teraz przez przypadek natrafiłem na twój kanał anglojęzyczny i.... czapki z głów, dawno nie słyszałem rodaka tak dobrze władającego angielskim. Pozdrawiam!
They should call this the Citroen Countryman. But this has that, Je ne sais pas. Yah I really don't know. Oh well, the French are so charming!! Air kisses to the designers! Thanks for the video Marek. I look forward to every one of them.
I prefer the comfort ride of a Citroen much more than the harder sporty ride of BMW. Anyway, buying this type of car is not meant for performance but to enjoy the comfort at a reasonable speed for the selling price . 👍 Review .
Marek, first of all happy holidays and many thanks for your great entertaining reviews. Superb review again. I love this little C3 Aircross and with gripcontrol it's a little tough car. A mate of mine took it off-road on a daily base and I was suprised what it could do in the mud. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I am not sure which version I like the most. The pre-facelift or this one. It sure looks much serious and muscular. But okay it is beween two design languages now and that is not easy. But whatever I love it. Marek, have you ever made a review on the Berlingo ?? I am very much interested in ë version. Keep up the good work !
Happy holidays to you too! No, I haven't done the PSA/Toyota cargo vans. I get the feeling they are not particularly interested in promoting them, because they are never on the press fleet. I'll ask about the EV Berlingo.
Hi Marek, nice review - an honest, real person’s review unlike so many we see on TH-cam, or television come to that. Please can you tell me when you shall be doing a review of the Hyundai Tucson plug-in Hybrid? Christmas wishes to you and my fellow subscribers. Kind regards from Cumbria in the U.K.
I totally understand, though I will say with automatic climate control you don't need to change temperature often (maybe this car is a bad example, but in general you don't :) ).
I have my eye on Yaris Cross. But, I can't find anywhere a test with just petrol version, only hybrid one. So, if you can grab one of those, please do a proper test :) Greetings from Romania! Merry Christmas!
AFAIK they use it on models from C4 upwards. It's called progressive hydraulic cushions/bumpstops. And no, C3 Aircross doesn't get those unfortunately.
Hi, I have the 2023 Citroen c3 aircross automatic petrol version, is there any way to permanently disable the STOP/START feature? I keep turning it off on the touchscreen but every time I stop the engine after a journey, then start the engine the next day I find that it has re activated itself, and it is so frustrating and irritating especially because I can’t find any answers anywhere! I love the car but this feature is unnecessary and stupid. Any advice would be much appreciated, and thanks for the video 👍
Stop/start is pretty much mandatory in new cars these days, because it helps cut emissions, and it's on by default. I'm sure you can use one of those coding devices you plug into the OBD2 port to change the default setting to off, but this could void your warranty.
It's funny you mention the stitched 360 view because I had one of these as a loan car when car was getting serviced - my 2018 Grand Picasso definitely has a proper 360 camera. I think Stellantis has been cost cutting because the Peugeot 3008 does the stitched view as well
I haven't driven a Picasso since 2014, so I cannot comment. It's not a Stellantis thing. Everything formerly PSA (except your Picasso) had that stitched view for ages. Only now they installed a proper 360 on the new 308.
Citröen should go back to hydropneumatic suspension. Not necessarily in the c3 but above the C4 there should must certainly be that option. Don't get me wrong, I have ride in the c3 and 5 aircross and they have better suspension than my 2009 C4 coupé but nowhere near what we used to have with hydropneumatic suspension.
@@MarekDrivesENG yes.... Better than the regular suspension on my Citröen but very far from what would be achieve with the older system used from the Ds to the C5.
Happy new year! If I may ask, what volume is the yeti bottle that fits in the cup holders? (Is it the Yeti Rambler Rambler 296ml/10oz ?) Great review as always! ".. after an hour or two behind the wheel I feel more advance comfort would be nice.. 😆" 👍
@@MarekDrivesENG I would like to thank you for the information. I just grabed two yeti 10oz, perfect for a coffee "car ride". I also find your review very accurate in my opinion. I have already 40days now the C3AC Shine 1.5diesel 120hp, eat6, khaki grey, with metropolitan graphite seats, sliding rear seats, park stationment(rear camera with front/rear sensors). I enjoy it a lot, specially the 30Nm torque at low rpm! For sure the advance comfort seats would be nicer if they were a little bit wider and longer, so they would stand up to the title as "comfy as your armchair".
Why do Citroen insist on overpricing their cars? Surely everyone has now caught on to the fact that they over-inflate list price to then give big discounts at the dealerships. I mean - who in their right mind would pay a list price of 30k for that car? Anyone? No, didn't think so.
I had an 18 plate pre facelift model and had total engine failure a couple of months ago. Luckily it was still under warranty, I wouldn’t buy another Citroen .
I bought C4 and I'm so sorry doing this. Never again. This is not a car. It's living room on the wheels, cannot do corners, consumption is high if you just touch accelerator... Visibility is bad, engines jittery.... Electronic is horrible bad. Do not buy!

There are some cheap solutions but still this car really has personality together with practicality. For me it is very attractive.
Exactly 🎉
I've purchased one on the strength of this video after a further test drive. Not the most flash car in the world but interesting and very practical!

Hi, I probably won't do Tucson PHEV, but I'll try getting the new Sportage in PHEV form. I expect them to be closely related.
Merry Christmas dude! Thanks for all the entertaining and informative videos!
Merry Christmas Marek!
Merry Christmas and best wishes for 2022 Marek.....ho ho ho :-)

Merry Christmas to the community here and also to Marek.🎄🎅🏼☃️
Thanks a lot. Marek - great reviews

Thank you, Marek, great review. I like this car, but will never buy one - the lack of physical dials for the heating controls is a total deal-breaker.
I totally understand, though I will say with automatic climate control you don't need to change temperature often (maybe this car is a bad example, but in general you don't :) ).
100% agree. I would have probably bought one if this was not the case. What a silly design.

Toyota is not interested in selling non-hybrid cars, so they don't order them for press fleet duty.
I (and many other people) call this color battleship grey. And it's awesome.
Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones
Do you know if the Aircross has the same so called magic carpet suspension as the Cactus ?
AFAIK they use it on models from C4 upwards. It's called progressive hydraulic cushions/bumpstops. And no, C3 Aircross doesn't get those unfortunately.

Stellantis cutting corners in all Marques again ... less for more..

Yes, that's the 10oz cup. A bit small. Also the magnet slide on top of the cover is not sealed, so be careful about spillage on rough roads.

Nice but not value for money. And the interior starts to show its age.
