Thank you for your comment. I believe the load of the propeler makes it sound correct. Most of the engines on youtube are just working display models with no load on them. Mine, is an engine designed and built to be fully functional and used in rc airplanes.
This sounds absolutely awesome. The only other v8 that sounds as good and possibly better would be Dennis Franz's 400cc v8. He has his in an antique motorcycle frame and has riding videos.
Thank you for the interest. With an air cooled V12 is quite difficult to achive even heat dissipation without auxilary fans. Even the air cooled V8 was a long shot but is going good so far. All of my engines are prototypes and will most certainly stay this way.
@@ChrisHillASMR sure there is some risk involved if something goes wrong but there is magic in hand starting your own engine so i make sure everything is OK and accept the risk. I certainly accept that others will not. BTW i am talking only for idling speed.
You really nailed it on this one my friend. Engine idles smooth. You did a great job! If I ever buy a small model flyer with a gas engine, I know who’s brain I’m picking! 😆
Thats awesome! Sounds amazing!! If I had one of those engines I would build a giant scale P-51 mustang. Only thing I would have to figure out is a liquid cooling system because of the inclosed cowling. If you built a P-51 with this engine liquid cooled like the real airplane you would have every head at the airfield watching you fly even from the start up of the engine. I believe you absolutely could do this. Would be amazing and a dream to see in the sky!! From a far people might think it is the real thing.
not sure if you have ur propeller is mounted directly onto the crankshaft or not but if so you might want to make sure the propulsion isn't going to eat your main bearings up from constantly pulling out on the crank instead of to the side like it was designed for. just wanted to throw that out there because Ive seen other guys have trouble with the same thing. neat little motor thought sounds great!
First “small” V8 I’ve heard that sounds correct. Finally someone gets the cam right.

Yep, it's got the hot rod idle and the rev. Just like a good little sbc 327 from the 60's.
@@evangelospaschaloudis1042 I wanna use this on my ratrod!
oh really, how many miniature V8 engines have you heard?? lol
@@ch-ir8ld more than you apparently
What a beautiful sounding engine. I think you need a few more of them if you're planning on flying that bench though.
lol
lmfao😂
Absolutely awesome! I love the sound. It reminds me of my brother-in-law's blown Chevy 350 hot rod!
This sounds absolutely awesome. The only other v8 that sounds as good and possibly better would be Dennis Franz's 400cc v8. He has his in an antique motorcycle frame and has riding videos.
That idle sounds awesome!
Magic sound!! Cant help but imagine a v12 version
Music
Fabulous! You made an old man smile!
Sounds like a small version of a 351W that’s been warmed over, very well done 👍
When your work won't turn up the air conditioner and tell you to bring a fan from home to you're office.
I thought I was about to see a park bench fly. That thing is awesome!
That sounds so sweet. That's how you want an aircraft to sound like. He should be proud.
Brilliant mate, Yeah sounds like a V8, Even for the small size.👍
Sure, an American V8, but racing v8's have flat plane cranks
@@stephenscholes4758you've never heard a screaming eagle at 10k rpm
Chapeau. A true masterpiece. Everyone who has just tried to build a 1 zylinder 2 stroke get's a rough imagination what this means.
That is ASMR v8 sound for every car guy
Culmination of a HUGE amount of dedication and engineering expertise - I'm sure, not without pain on the journey! - Old git, UK
I am so excited to see your next test run. I would love to have one of these engines. Wish you could make a V12. I absolutely would buy one.

Use a motorcycle starter to crank it on, having ur hand next to a 10,000rpm fan is actual insanity

@@evangelospaschaloudis1042 I appreciate that perspective. Stay safe.
Could you friggin imagine what a V12 would sound like? Omg, I’d pay money to hear it just for a minute.
Love it the time you put into building the engine sounds great thanks
Dang!! That is the coolest minute scale engine I've seen to date!! Amazing work
It would be great in a Spad XIII which also had a V-8 and a tuned exhaust. Beautiful engine - sounds good as well. You are quite a machinist Bravo.. .
Beautiful, sounds like it wants more air!!! I bet it'll rev to the moon and back. Great work
Just by watching the prop this engine is running great, thanks again for sharing your thoughts and great videos
Id LOVE to see that kind of motor on a motorized bicycle!!! 🤘😁
This is a very similar engine:

Sterling performance ..you sure got that right!.....Fantastic ...
Given enough power, anything can fly. You nearly made that benchs' dream come true 😎
I want to see this on all sorts of small appliances. I would pay top dollar if it meant I could hear this thing while push mowing my lawn.
SWEET!!!!!!!!
Beautiful job.
Looks and sounds awesome.
Thanks so much for sharing this,
Take care.

Best sounding miniature v8 I’ve ever heard….. period
That sounds like it has a 90* crank, which sounds awesome, but I'm surprised at the choice for such a tiny engine. I love it!!
I'm a die hard Ford V8 fan and all I can is that thing sounds sweet mate 👍👍

The engine is fantastic but I dont you'll ever get the bench to fly.
strap enough energy to and you might just
27 cable ties and one small pig is all that’s needed to keep the kiddies happy.
Look at a tomcat a flying bad ass brick
Звук восьмёрки всегда приятен, не важно какого объёма.
Beautiful! You gotta be proud of your masterpiece!.
But, that bench will never fly!
I keep seeing Betty Boop sitting on the engine flying the bench around. Kool engine build.
Μπράβο σου... Άξιος !
this definitely needs to go on a go cart!
Wouldn’t that be awesome?
Καταπληκτικός κινητήρας ……. και λειτουργικά και σε εμφανίσει.
Μπράβο για το κατόρθωμα σου
Your skills are impressive sir
Some of the first v8’s were in planes. That’s amazing. If you market it, you’ll definitely have buyers from the RC community.
Great workmanship. Congrats.
That sounds amazing dude! I need one of these
Imagine the badass go-kart you could make with that engine!
Sounds like a total beast! Well done
That lil thing sounds beast af.
Almost sounds like the 305 in my 77 Pontiac Phoenix. Very nice camshaft grind.
That sounds great! Mean as it should be.
Sounds fericious when it gets on the cam !
This in a go kart would be a game changer. I wish someone would produce a small V8.
I was just waiting for the bench to fly over the field... 😉😄😄
Magnificent! And it sounds just beautiful. 👍
I wanna put this on a go cart for my grandson!
V8 is great! I can't believe how much 0.38 litre sounds like 7 litre big block
You really trust this old bench that it don't fall over under the trust :D
You built this? WOW fantastic!
How many horses does it develop?. 🤔
I need this engine fitted in my moped/50cc 6 speed bike.
This makes me so happy
I think the park bench may need a bit more washout...
Amazing engine ;-)
I thought I would see for the first time, a flying public seat! 🤣
Wow! Sounds phat! Chunky! Love it
That sounds like a small 350 Chevy motor good job!!!!
that engine sounds wonderful... the idle sound is great, but to fly that bench you will need a few more engines..🤣
That sounds phenomenal! 👌🏻👍🏻
simply amazing idk why they dont manufacture these
Wow that is a tourque monster by the sound of it.
I know it’s designed for aero projects. But I would love to build a badass chopper looking bicycle with your engine. Keep going 💪
Imagine a minibike with this beauty
SOUNDS Great . ACTUAL V-8 sound .
Beautiful. Bench almost couldn't hold on to the ground.
Finally a V8 that will fit my Honda
Nothing beats a crossplane crankshaft!
This thing sounds awesome good work thanks for the video 👍
I would love to see the specs of this. Sounds amazing!
Wow he started that in counter clock wise, well that is what a p51 should sound like
Awsome , what a gem engine and it sounds great 👍 😀
Sounded pretty good. Makes a nice fan. 👌
Nice job! Sounds amazing!
It sounds divine. Well done!
What a work of art!
Any updates on this engine? Last video i see posted about it is this one. Would love to see another.
I will make one when the modifications are ready.
Sounds great looks great I love it!
The sound is cool!!
Wonderful !
The fuel tube needs a zip tie..
They sound gorgeous at any scale, the cross-plane V8's 😁😄😃🤩😛
And as far as props go that engine could swing something much larger, it just wouldn't look scale though.
That’s awesome! 👍 sounds great.
Wow! That sounds amazing!!!
4000 rpm, 5000 rpm - when we see flying park bench?
Congrats. Genius work.
Hope you are going to put a prop guard on that toy.
Wow was für ein geiler Motor und Klang 👍👍👍
Soert of sounds like a WWII Spitfire or Mustang , very nice.
Wow,amazing sound. looks freakn kool bud
Oh gosh, that sound makes my ears cry
Cross-plane or flat-plane crank? Sounds like cross-plane.
That bench gonna catch ✈️ flight
Next project: Rootes type blower?
Très beau son ,comme un vrai V8 👏👏👏
Sweet sounding motor.
Sounds awesome. I don't know a thing about this engine, but those 2 tiny carbs seem way to small for all those cylinders.

Thank you for your comment. There is a thrust bearing inside the front housing for that reason.
