    What happens when we try to extinguish arc, without weakening the arc or when arc is strong In ckt breaker #ratnadipshinde

    sir we have gis system but there is some lekeage observed of sf6 gass from bus bar isolator compartment between breaker and isolator sir gas lekage observed from nutbolt what can ido now plz guide

      If SF6 gas pressure is dropping fast. Then is it better to turn off that particular compartment before SF6 level drops below permissible limit and leads to further complications. If SF6 pressure is not dropping fast and leakage is minor, then outage of the compartment at suitable time can be planned to attend the leakage. Though it is not possible to understand the problem completely stated, as it needs to understand other conditions at your system. Hope this helps.

    Fascinating. Great explanation even though it's robot voiceover.

    What is the reason for small glow light comes out of gis chamber?

    Does the SF6 reading which you show on gauge shows the pressure in the gas tank itself or gas in whole CircuitBreaker chamber? Is there a difference to that?
    What does high reading/low reading on it means? I read out that the leakage might lead to the gauge pressure reading dropping, but that would mean that the pressure outside of tank would rise?
    What would the high reading indicate?

      SF6 pressure gauge shows the pressure inside circuit breaker. Low pressure means the pressure inside the breaker is dropped.

      @@ElectroGlobe1 Thanks for the fast response, so its not the pressure of the SF6 gas tank per se but the whole closed circuit in which the gas can cycle?
      What happens when pressure of this gas increase? In what scenarios it could happen?

    • @ElectroGlobe1
      @ElectroGlobe1  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@radosawhabdas7666 Yes it indicates the pressure of complete gas pipes. High pressure than the recommended level can cause leakage.

    What happens when rupture disc breaks, breaker trips, and one or both poles remain energized? Would there be an internal fault with 0 SF6 pressure?

    • @ElectroGlobe1
      @ElectroGlobe1  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If SF6 is at zero level. Any breaker operation whether close or open, should not be done in loaded condition. first load should be taken out of breaker circuit.

    Why we use dc 110vDc in control box isolator plz

    • @ElectroGlobe1
      @ElectroGlobe1  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      110v DC in CB is used for closing and tripping coil pick up. Whenever closing or tripping command is given to CB, DC supply goes to coil and it magnetize coil. Also it is used for contacts pick up also. Hope this answered your query.
