Quite the difference indoors. Seems like some kind of RTGI or AO is in use when in quality and completely lost in perfomance. Looks significantly worse. Glad I can play this on a high end PC.
Facts, i don't understand why it was completely removed from the performance mode, they should've used some sort of baked lighting for the indoors parts, looks very flat.
Thank God the ps5 pro is coming I have ff16 and elden ring in my backlog for a year so I can finaly play them at a solid 60 with silent hill 2 and wukong afterwards!
Its honestly odd too because everyone acts like 60 became the standard and I'm like "I can't think of a single release that doesn't take a visual hit for that secondary toggle that is only set to default if your console is set to framerate by default.

So what is the consensus on whim is the better mode over all quality or performance?
It will look and run even better in both modes on the Pro.
It will, but not £700 better
@@huzidamasta you can and should sell base PS5 if you are buying a Pro. If not then of course it won't be worth 700 £
@Radek494 yeh but even after selling it, the additional cost for the difference is still insane.
I think everyone needs to ask themselves truthfully, if you were playing your normal ps5, and a notification came up from the system saying "NEW UPGRADE. FREE 24 HOUR TRIAL AVAILABLE" and you clicked on the trial and saw the difference in image quality, you'd be interested, but then after the trial finished and it said £350..........come on. No one would do that. And that, in essence, is what people are doing. It's absolute madness.
How will you play it ? Perfomance mode or fidelity mode ?
No seas ignorante. Es unreal engine 5. Todo funciona mal en ps5 y serie x. Es un engine pensado para pc, pro y nueva generacion ps6 y la nueva xbox
This is not a fast paced game it’s 100% best suited for quality mode
And this right here is why the pro exists. Glad to have it on my 4080 pc day 1 tho
Same
A normal comment from a PC gamer? 🤔 Hmm… they do exist! 🤝 Enjoy man!
@@fenixa2z936 "pc gamers" don't exist, because pc-cancer is not a gaming platform.
Same 💪🏿
lucky
Can you test it on the HANDHELDS please?
Reflections are absolutely terrible
Totally play this game on pc
*If you have a 3080+ graphic card
Is there a quality 40fps mode available?
Sadly no.
PC vs PS5 Next?
Is there any screen tearing in either of the modes? I saw some in the PlayStation Underground Fleshlips Trailer.
Looking at this, I really want to play on PS5 Pro soon.
Seems very respectable all around.
Guys, don’t worry about the resolution in performance mode. FlopStation 5 Pro is coming to fix all the problems.
Only 700$ 🤑
“FlopStation” somehow will still be one of the most sold consoles but yeah this seems for a UE5 issue every time a launch pure UE5 game comes out there’s always this issue rn some people with 4080s are having issues
¿Tienes pensado comparar la versión de PC con la de PS5?
So we must wait for Pro Enhanced patch
@@piotrkowalczyk2515 honestly even with mods I doubt this game will look good. It honestly looks barebones
Pro has nothing on it
@@alexander2685 stable frame rate ? On base ps5 is 40-60.

Seems like performance mode with 90s filter is the way to go
Quite the difference indoors.
Can PLEASE someone tell me the name of the song / background music in this video!?
I really want to know, but Shazam doesn't get the result
Thank God the ps5 pro is coming I have ff16 and elden ring in my backlog for a year so I can finaly play them at a solid 60 with silent hill 2 and wukong afterwards!
they disabled the lumen lighting on performance mode sadly, makes sense though no one would have liked to play at 720p
Pwrformence on ps5 dont use lumen go by pc sory 😅
no tiene vrr?

I cant wait to see what the updates will be for the Pro. I will wait until then to play the game but for now Quality mode is the way to play the game.
Games looks like it was built with 30fps in mind. The 60fps mode seems like a terrible choice; feels like it was added to appease complainers.
@@MamoMark always has been since this gen’s launch. lol
Its honestly odd too because everyone acts like 60 became the standard and I'm like "I can't think of a single release that doesn't take a visual hit for that secondary toggle that is only set to default if your console is set to framerate by default.
Great vid. I'll be playing it in quality. Especially after seeing this.
this game on ps5 pro will be brutal
Just get a pc at that point
I personally use peformance mode as it's runs faster and smoother than quality mode.
hoping this game gets pro patched to run 1440p60 with PSSR and quality mode settings
PS5 Pro will be 4k60fps on quality settings.
@@ScherazardGamesthat would be nice but a pro patch hasnt been confirmed yet
@Scwith pssr yes herazardGames
🤡
@@azwilko1997 its confirmed in the game page on Psn.
I really don't want ps5 games to start feeling like I'm playing on ps4 and the Pro version is like playing the native ps5 version of that game...
Which is what it feels like with the differences in quality, rendering and lighting of this game.
I mean, it's a Unreal 5 game. I wasn't expecting much resolution. Looking good and performing well for today standards
Performance mode looks good as well, but its too bright somehow, the quality mode makes the atmosphere way better, but its just too fluid playing in performance mode 😵💫
