- This is the brand new Maserati MC20. It's currently the first one in the world. They've completely redesigned it from previous Corvette models, moving the engine from the front to the middle of the car. It now has a very Supercar look, and specs, with 630 horse power and 0-100 in 2.9 seconds! What do you guys think of the new direction Maserati is going in?

The Maserati GranTurismo is amazing!! I'm not into SUV but I love the Levante cause it looks aggressive af!
McLaren, Ferrari, Lambos, are everywhere. For $250k, at least with this you get something that is somewhat unique and is definitely gorgeous.
Very true, and also with being a Maserati, if you wait 3 months, it will have depreciated by about 35% so you'll get it super cheap!
The price is actually $210k so it’s a little bit cheaper than it’s competition

Don't worry if you buy one I'm sure it delivers what it says on the tin. If it's currently one of a handful of prototypes they don't want it wrapping round a lamppost. Awesome car even at 5km/h 😆

@@luiscaldeira7458 I kind of like it. Like anything you need to see it in the flesh. What I like is they haven't overdone the aggression or stuck spoilers all over it. Maserati is always a bit of a left field car. That's what I like about it, every smuck who comes into money goes and buys a Ferrari, Maserati isn't on everyone's radar
@@gr182 indeed not overloaded with spoilers and grills and that is a good thing. I think the problem is vertical headlights instead of horizontal seems bug eyed but not bad

This is the first supercar I genuinely am pursuing. I think It'll tick every box I'd hope for. I would like a clutch and manual stick shift, just for fun factor, but I'm comparing that to an experience I'm yet to have the pleasure of acquainting myself with, as of yet... I hope u bought one. U need a Cielo if you haven't pulled the trigger on this one yet.

It really reminds me of the legendary Maserati MC12 and i can't believe this new MC20 is an entry Maserati with the same horsepower as the MC12, times have really changed.
Looks absolutely nothing like the MC12, nothing.
MC12 was legendary. It actually beat the Enzo in its prime on the track. This car probably won't be setting any records. There were only about 62 made as well. 2 completely different cars really. 🤷🏾♂️
Definitely a step up from previous models , I do hope they will make a v8 or v10 varient .. fingers crossed 🤞
They won't, it'll be electric next. V12 won't fit in. If you want the V12 buy the MC12, if you've got a spare million dollars at least.

That’s honestly the best sounding V6 I have ever heard!
I’ve got a grand Turismo and man it sounds SICK! The MC20 is quieter than I thought it would be but it does have them turbos but the only thing I’m wondering is why it’s not that loud and how big those twin turbos are
Lucky you, naturally aspirated V8! just murder a turbo engine sound wise!! Turbos just take the soul out of the engine and only the noise is left!!
They can be loud but doesn't sound great, just listen to McLaren's, turbo V8's and the F8, Roma, 488, Turbo S and so on!
I also think that the MC20 have the new petrol particle filter that just f**k the sound up even more )and it's illegal to manipulate or remove), but they should have launch the MC20 with a V8, the V6 will put many potential buyers off!
I think (hope) once Maserati begin racing this (as they've suggested they will) I am hoping they will come out with an extreme track version like Ferrari does then hopefully they can pump the exhaust -- then I can't wait to hear the NOVITEC Rosso version exhaust note.
@@Fred-ck1gh I totally agree but sometimes it’s a bit weird because I also have a 2018 BMW M3 COMPETITION and it to be honest kinda sounds better then that MC20 (my M3 also has a V6 Twin Turbo) but hey it is what it is

@@ketsu7133 I DO like the sound of your version M3 -- but also bear in mind we have not heard the Mc20 at full song yet some of the Turbo Cars sound better going through the rev ranges and in downshifting than they do upon start up -- so lets ee what happens
