Side note: The video of me driving is shakey because of the camera's lack of stabilization, construction, and our TERRIBLE roads in NW Houston. However, this is not at all a representation of the ride of the car. Trust me... it's a SUPER SMOOTH RIDE!
This is BY FAR the best CTS review I've watched. I've been thinking of buying a used one and graduating from hash muscle cars. This review makes me think it will be a good decision!
Just bought a 2019 Cadillac CTS with all wheel drive. Just like yours, white with tan interior. Got it off a 2 year lease, 20,000 miles. Love everything about it!!
Great review -- I enjoy reviews by non automotive journalists such as yourself, since people like you and I are the ones who actually buy these things :P I also enjoy the fact that you aren't a biased European reviewer. We need more like you and SaabKyle!
Good shit man. I like how your videos are just like having a conversation wit you, not just some guy throwing up a bunch of bullshit at us; you a real one.
Great video friend, my story is almost identical to yours.Have an SRX loved it, went into a Cadillac dealer not knowing which car to purchase CTS or CT6, loved them both.I finally decided on a premium CTS V-sport because the CT6 was a little too big. I love my 2016 CTS and will keep it as long as its drivable. All materials inside are real, chrome, leather, wood and carbon fiber. Cadillac is making the sexiest cars on the road today.Well done Cadillac!!!!!
Man this has to be the best car review I've ever seen. Super entertaining. Love the car, it's gorgeous. I'm thinking about either getting one of these or an Infiniti Q50. I like how luxurious the CTS is, but I feel like the Q50 is sportier. not sure which I prefer haha.
Just bought my first car, this exact car same exterior color but 2015. It's a dream come true, the smoothest drive I've ever had, smoother than any Lexus I been in to my surprise! And surprisd how quick it was , between the turbo and AWD it just wants to fly.
I bought my 2017 Cadillac cts in April 2024, I Love Love Love my car ,,,,I’m 69, mind you I’m old school. So my kids have to show me all the bells and whistles😊, It has always been my dream car😊😊😊 ,,,,,,,Love your video!
Great review. I've watched it multiple times, and loved it each time. I'm in the market for a 2015 or 16 CTS and this review has helped me tremendously. Thanks Bro.
I'm really glad it was helpful. We're still loving them. I've also done a video about how they've held up over the last 2 or so years... th-cam.com/video/Wdn__pTKuDE/w-d-xo.html
You are effortlessly funny man 😂. Really enjoyable watch. I'm looking at buying this EXACT car btw, white exterior, 2016, and tan interior as well. (Except if I buy it I'll buying it used 10 years and 150k miles after it came out, but it'll still be the newest nicest car I've ever driven and it looks practically brand new in every way so I'm pretty pumped!)
Nice!! love that interior!!! that color also blends in with the interior. The Auto stop is quite rough and I feel like that can be hard on the starter. be careful about that!
+Glen W. Ford Thanks for the compliment, no matter how far off it may be. Lol! And yes, you can disable the Start/Stop feature once you start the car, but it defaults to ON again once you restart it.
I own a 2017 ATS Luxury Carbon Black Edition. Pretty much a V-series without the motor. I like the specs on your CTS I would of had it the exact same way. Great review!
I tested out the ATS coupe and LOVED it!! I drove the hell out of that thing for about 3 days. The 2.0L engine and suspension perform really well in that smaller frame.
Great video. Completely agree. Beautiful car. I'd take this over a over priced german car anyday. Chevy/gm/caddi still leading the pack 😈 but the infotainment section picks up fingerprints & could be a little more accessible when driving. But perfect car
Thanks for the review I’m almost done paying off my current car which I’m going to give ft to my mother and I am looking at a 2016 GMC Sierra or 2016 Cts can’t decide. I’m leaning towards the truck because I think parts might be cheaper compared to a turbocharged car if it need fixing. How reliable is the cts
Great job on your video, man. I love these cars. I own a veryt low milage 2006 CTS Sport Luxury model and it still looks like new with it's Ultra Red paint. It has 18", 10 spoke alloy wheels. It drives beautifully and has, basically, no body roll. Great facotry stereo, although I have upgraded the four old door speakers. The 10" woofer is original a has no distortion. Everywhere I go people comment on the car and the color. When I tell them it's 11 years old they are shocked. The 2017 would be my only choice for a replacement vehicle.
Great review! Better than car dealers etc., especially with the camera mounted over your shoulder as you drive, as opposed to watching the driver! We don’t want to watch them, we want to watch the drive. Great stuff. Only feedback would be to try and get a mount that takes out the vibration.
I'm torn. That back seat looks tight, but the Xts is a full time job trying to park on city streets. Even with the front and rear sensors the xts was extremely long
XTS and CTS are very different cars for very different buyers. XTS is a front-heavy, front-drive based car with a focus on space and comfort. The CTS is a rear-drive based car with fantastic dynamics, but the trade off is a firmer ride and less interior space. IMHO the biggest limiting factor in the back seat isn't headroom, hip room, or even leg room - it's foot room. The footwell is quite tight, and (unless you jack your front seats up high) there is no room to get big feet under the seats. I'm 5'10" and I sit with knees and elbows lightly bent (more relaxed than an "upright and tight" racing position, but nowhere close to a "gangster lean"), and feet bigger than a size 7-8 are tight in the back.
Does anyone if the 15 or 16 have the same smoothness in driving and the kick on the 2.0 engine, and as well as the features, am 95% sure am getting this car but not sure what year is best?
Happy to help bro. We love our cars. (Even though we haven't washed them in about a month.) People always ask why we both have the same cars... the answer is simple. We really like them. Lol!
Just to let you know i watched to the end in full screen. Great review by an enthusiast who is a family man.great descriptions and you let subject {stout sedan} take "center stage". so relevant forgot about shaky camera. Thanks.
Great review! I just sold my 07 escalade and I'm looking to get into a CTS 😁 which is why I'm checking this review. What do you think?was it worth it?is it reliable?
I'm about to purchase a gorgeous silver 15 with one owner 26,000 miles and sport spoke rims black interior. What your thoughts on radiant silver on this sexy machine?
That's a sexy beast! I'd say get it. My wife has a 15 with approaching 35,000 miles and it still feels new. Mine has 25,100. I also think the exterior design will still look great in the years to come when compared to other vehicles for at least another 5 to 7 years. I mean look how well the 2008 Escalade Platinum and CTS Coupe have held up in style. 🙌
+Mwalker Man I'm loving this thing! It amazes me how they managed to squeeze the type of power out if this little ass motor! Lol! It's SO quick! And don't even get me started on how nice the interior feels.
I've never tested the V Sport but that should be FUN. I really wish they would have made a 2 door. That's what I really wanted... The ATS coupe just didn't do it for me.
@@NewStuffTV1 yeah your correct about the two door. The ATS is a little to small for me. I'm looking forwars to my test drive but not my wife's reaction if I bring home. I love my Camaro it's just time for a grown man car.
runflats have limitations, what if you damage your rims by hitting an animal or hitting a curb or running over some kind of a debris on the highway which will leave you stranded.
That's why I agree with your 1st comment. I think they probably do it for weight distribution as well since the battery is in the trunk. They figure people who buy these cars will also purchase the OnStar packages and wait for someone to come to the rescue instead of getting dirty and fixing it themselves in 15 mins vs waiting an hour for a wrecker to show up.
Tell me about it... After driving this one for two years... It never let's me down when I need to pass someone really quick or make a fast maneuver to get out of trouble.
its a shame that motors and engineering are junk! study , research, very poor rated cars! no reliability, no resale value! no mechanics want to work on these cause there junk! even the suspention n brakes are junk. stereos suck in them,

Just Doin' Reviews N' Stuff cts has a sporty ride, even in tour. drive an xts and you'll see a light years difference
+Mateo12485 That's a really great car, but that one and the CT6 were just too big for what I was looking for in a car.

The q50 tech is horrible. The CTS wins plus the same horses and better brand for luxury
