- "Trapped in a corner" is a song of Individual Thought Patterns, the fifth studio album by American death metal band Death, released on June 22, 1993. It is the only album by the band to feature guitarist Andy LaRocque, the first to feature drummer Gene Hoglan and the second and last to feature bassist Steve DiGiorgio.

Really hard to get used to. Muscle memory takes over once you have practiced enough though. Just don't switch the bass you are playing lol

i havent listened to death for years. but i play certain songs on the bass regularly. i just got a video suggestion from the one i play the most. "crystal mountian" in the comments of that video i explained how it was creepy that google/youtube recommended someones cover of that song to me. In another comment i mentioned steve digorgio being the best bass era of death. Then i immediately get this video.

This sounds fantastic. I still wonder how fretless players know where to put their finger on? :D Anyways - this has been my favorite Death Album from the start. I first heard Human somewhere in 1992 I believe and although the sound of it blew me away, I had problems digesting it, but when I heard this album, I was instantly hooked. The riffs, the sound, the ideas, the solos from Andy. It just seemed like it came from another Star System. Great cover

Is that a Bass Collection bass? I haven’t seen one of those since the 90s. Nice! There was this black fretless four string I would lust over in my local music store. Hard to find nowadays but the pieces I run across are just so much bass for the price. Just great basses.
I had a Bass Collection bass as well. It was a great bass....and yet, for some dumb reason, I sold it (story of every musician ever.)
