I thought I was delirious but it really sounds like everything we expect from a good metal song and it seems like it came from a studio recording so perfect it is.
daniel Erlandsson is a complete drummer serves very well in various styles especially within extreme metal very precise a great punch and a lot of feeling for this style of music
My son was 16 yts olf and wrote a letter to Metal Manics magazine and it was published. His letter and telling them of Carcuss love. And Carcass was on the cover that month!❤❤❤❤😂❤❤❤❤❤❤
Jeremy Roberston If what you said was true, then Micheal's tone would have sounded the same, except it wasn't. It was only Steer's tone that was complete shit.
@JezBollah 667 He has a good usually, but you can't deny the fact that the tone here is fucking awful. It's not being out of tune, it's obvious lack of gain.
Yargh. I agree about the guitar sound, at least on Bill's side of the stage--he's got Marshalls and a 5150 behind him, there, what the hell happened? Not to mention he seemed to be having an off day; his playing was just not there. Maybe it was because his tone or lack thereof was adversely affecting his playing? Michael killed it, of course, and sounded far better.
My favorite song by them is 'Ruptured in Purulence'. Why don't they ever play that song live anymore, the full song? I searched for videos of it and they just don't play it. They switch to different songs like 'Heartwork' right before they should start singing it.
"Tone sucks" comments. All up to how the video was recorded. Pretty sure Carcass brings a professional rig to all shows. But maybe not. Maybe they don't have all the plugins you do in your bedroom so they can't sound PERFECT at ever show ever....although they've fucking done this for DECADES.
Fuck! Ruptured in purulence could have been awesome... Pure grind!!! Would you drink wine with water in the same glass? Necroticism was their testament....
so fucking heavy song goddamn, and very good also, i have this in album, wake up and smell the carcass, ep collection, goddamn good collection, rot 'n' roll, so low riff huh huh..
@@reidlingtheseedling yeah no, unless it’s a baritone guitar, having the extended range and higher string gauge on the lower register drastically improves clarity and tone. Do you actually believe having floppy strings on a 25.5 scale guitar is not an inconvenience? Like yes in the 90’s the options were limited, but come on man.
He’s going for that “cable not fully connected to overdrive pedal” tone and I love it!
He doesn't seem to quite enjoy it though
Jeff's growl is one of the best there is in extreme metal. Listen to that tone! Ugh!
I thought I was delirious but it really sounds like everything we expect from a good metal song and it seems like it came from a studio recording so perfect it is.
Bill's guitar sounds like a faulty korg miku plugged into an ibanez practice amp and all of that underwater
Steer doesn’t have any average grindcore dude looks but to think he is one of grindcore pioneer is awesome. Really like his humbleness.
"To all intents and purposes, we're just a rock band."
Bill Steer, 1990
🤘keep on rock... keep on rotting in the free world
Real job. Real band, still alive. No comic handshaking and other comedy, only good job, only metal. Strong quality.
Great Job!
+Keith Nastaga you may say that, legendary song..
Tell that to Opeth moron.
"only metal"
Hell no!
British humour and comedy! Jeff's master with words!
The Bass sounds very brutal :)
It Could Sound More Brutal, But I Won't Disagree

In riffs Heartwork must be one of the best songs ever, just try to play it, it is pure joy, you are playing and swing uncontrollably...
The intro of Ruptured... with Heartwork in full & then the end of Carneous Cacoffiny at 6:10! :)
Carneous Cacoffiny part sounds funny
The new drummer Daniel kills it, he has a style similar to ken.
He must respect Ken!
Dan is great, I saw Carcass live in India, Dan is a little faster than Ken.
Death inscription on Jeff's bass!
Ultron Thunderlord What model is it even?
@@Max-rn3eb ESP eclipse bass
Bill Steer looks like 20 in 90's . 00' . And in 10's
Steer was playing country music not Death/Grind.
He played in Firebird Blues/Hard Rock
5:06 DEATH STICKER.
One of the best bands I've seen live.
1/2 Carcass 1/2 Arch Enemy
@Jeremy Robertson Arch enemy is the personal proyect of Mike Ammot.
@@Uggistdf yeah so
what the hell are you talking about, this is 4/4 carcass, and don't make me explain it to you.
Three quarters of the classic lineup! Just wished Bill had his old sound here!
Para mi Heartwork es el mejor álbum de Carcass 🖤
Totalmente
1:51 solo is ankward.
Accidentally started the video at 1.5x speed. Was not even dissapointed
I CANT HEADBANG THIS FAST
As if Steer's tone couldn't get any worse lol
Steer is a very accomplished player , sounds like he may of had amplifier issues .
Guitar tone is like Toki's in that episode where he tried to do a lead and Skwisgaar got pissed and unplugged him.
love these guys!
Lula Chevalier i lob you gorgeous
i love you...carcass
decent crowd I suppose. its weird, Jeff always looks older, while bill doesn't age at all XD. And Amott, just go back to carcass. u know u want to.
invadernik that's crazy..Bill looks like he's in his 20,s still..I want his secret
it's good to see death metal still going after all these years..FUCK YEAH
I miss Amott in Carcass af
Same here! 👍
0:22 / 2:09 dance like you're listening to Reggae while playing some Heavy shit
michael jackson on drums?
:-)
Band should have ended after Ken's accident imo
It's Daniel Erlandsson from Arch Enemy
+Richard warren Dude, chill, it's a joke.
Arch Enemy sucks a big cock, they're a wanna be death metal band.
they should play the full ruptured :(
Obvious that Steer has problem with sound!
they still sound great
00:19 Starring, Michael Jackson on drums! Rock on
Jeff has a Death logo on his bass!🤣🤘
Good performance but dodgy guitar tone
+Afterlife088
Ammott's tone was fine. Not sure what happened with Steer's. He had no distortion in his tone at all and was extremely muddy.
+Blu yeah you're right dude it was steers not ammotts!
I think some of his strings were out of tune
The mic placement was also bad. No treble in that tone at all.
Chile siempre presente
La cancion Heartwork no es Death/Grind es Death metal melodico
I think this is the only live recording from one of these metal festivals where Carcass sounds thick and full...
Nächstes mal bitte wieder auf der Black Stage ! :)
Como cuando olvidas pisar el pedal de distorsión!! XD 1:48
seeing Carcass this Saturday!!!
Me too
05:06 DEATH sticker
0:58 bless you Bill
guitar sounds like some beginner pack u buy for 150 bucks
I love that shitty tone tho, haha
Because Godfathers of Grindcore
Jeremy Roberston If what you said was true, then Micheal's tone would have sounded the same, except it wasn't. It was only Steer's tone that was complete shit.
Sounds like he plays without boost here for whatever reason.
@JezBollah 667 He has a good usually, but you can't deny the fact that the tone here is fucking awful. It's not being out of tune, it's obvious lack of gain.
You guys always.......RULE........
Loved it
Jeff walker is a GOD
The doctors know!
Jeff Walker's bass???
the intro growl sounds so weird without the pitch shifting

Awesome 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Carcass is class

great boys
Jesus christ Bill turn your Guitar Volume up!
Best lineup ever
Love Carcass!
Supreme Masters Love to Carcass
was the guitarist drunk? O_o
blackpsicosi1 dude, that guitarist
I couldn't even recognized the fucking song
blackpsicosi1 Steer's guitar was out of tune, apart from that everything was just fine
+Whitney Belarus he plays like shit
+DoomArchiv3s thats because he is ... : \
It's (intro) Ruptured in Purulence / Heartwork / Carneous Cacoffiny (end)

and..the HD?
ruptured in heart cacoffiny work !
amazing intro
How did you sound when YOU played at Wacken?
5:00 what?
Per Yngve Ohlin lol. A little sour note...yup.
I guess Bill was under the impression that they were going to be playing a non-distorted version. "Carcass Unplugged"
Bill Steers guitar sound wtf, he normally has impeccable tone....sounds like signal is screwed somewhere?
Siempre pensé que antes de tocar en vivo, las guitarras se afinaban a la par para que suenen en sintonía.............

Jacko's alive as a drummeeeeeer!
Carcass
спасибо моя любимая група песня крутая 🤘💖
I think the sound man forgot to include dudes guitar in the pedal chain for the recording output...
Siempre hay un chileno
the ageless bill steer!
You need to love this or u are out of youre f*cking mind!👊🏻
Jeff has a Totenkopf in his headstock, cool.

hi Michael Amot
Bill is such a good looking death metal mofo
Yeeees!!!
Epico
Would it kill someone to get the lead some gain ffs
Jeff, Bill , Ken \m/
Nice
This band doesn't receive the respect they deserve!
Factory rage! Never give up!!!!
,carcass, napalm death ,extreme noise terror .
They should have switched to 7 strings a long time ago for this tuning.
Never heard about baritone scale?
@@browiththecoolslidyface9709 doesnt matter, 7 strings improve tonality at lower registers
@@ismelljello All other things equal, having an extra high e string does not make a low B string sound better than one on a B standard tuned 6 string.
