Salam all, as Muslim women independence is quite different from what mainstream society teaches. I hope we all learn a lesson or two from the great examples of muslimah's whom Allah mentioned in the Qur'an and those mentioned in hadith of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh).
FYI : I am not a sheikh, scholar nor would I even consider myself a student of knowledge. I am just your everyday Muslim trying to better my self and my deen. Additionally, as a human being, I make mistakes just like everyone else, If you notice a mistake of mine, fear Allah in your approach of advising me.

"And they (women) have rights (over their husbands as regards living expenses) similar (to those of their husbands) over them (as regards obedience and respect) to what is reasonable”
[al-Baqarah 2:228]
Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other, and because they spend of their property (for the support of women). So good women are the obedient, guarding in secret that which Allah hath guarded. As for those from whom ye fear rebellion, admonish them and banish them to beds apart, and scourge them. Then if they obey you, seek not a way against them. Lo! Allah is ever High, Exalted, Great.
@Miracleofnight__Surah Nisa has 176 verses divided into 24 Rukus/Sections. "Nisa" in Arabic is "Women."This Surah is named so because it mainly discusses issues and laws regarding women, marriage, inheritance, and Rights of women. After migration to Madina Muslims became a community and thus required laws and regulations regarding day to day life. The underlying theme of Surah is the family life and instructions to consolidate this basic unit of the society. Laws have been given for marriage and the status of women. Orphans also have a central theme of this Surah as because of battles this issue was becoming intense as more and more families becoming victims of these battles. Thus laws and regulations have been laid down for the proper care of orphans and their inheritance.
@Miracleofnight__ just know that it's easy to pay for the hour. Money in exchange for goods and services. I know married men who fly out to Morocco for "hammam" and "massage". So you can stay in your prestigious bubble, but know that it's for sale and men will pay for the hour instead of taking street trash home with them.

That hijab color scheme complements your complexion very beautifully. Just a personal style preference. I watch your videos but dont like those very dark shades (especially darker shades of red ) on milk chocolate.

Yes and she still was independant after Islam... Muhammed was still working for her and she was his boss even after they got married she still was because it was her business...but later on Muhammad made his business so he didn't need to work for her anymore and they both used together their businesses to help islam that's why they were poor because they gave all their money to serve the poor and help free the slaved muslims because the muslim slaves were tortured for choosing islam over worshippment of idols...she also helped Muhammed when he was scared after knowing that he will be the prophet and she gave him council because she was so wise...and she encouraged him that's why he loved her so much because she stood for him and helped him with everything she could without him having to tell her so.. about independancy she was able to do everything she wanted..besides as I a muslim girl I am not oppressed I chose to wear the hijab and that's why I am more secured now and treated by men as if I am one of them...because I am not sexy to them anymore so they are talking to my brain not my body... I hope that answers ur question my sister..if it didn't please tell me what's it that u don't get in islam and hopefully we can discuss it together..at the end we both want to do and follow the right thing right?May Allah (God) guide us.I am here for any concerns u have about islam just please be nicer when u talk about the prophet because those are our role models and most beloved people so it really hurts when u insult them.Yet I can't blame u,u just don't Know them just like how I didn't know them either back then and I also thought muslims were opressed but little by little I met some muslim people who showed me what islam really is and that's when I literally discovered everything I thought about islam was wrong.and I'm now so happy and proud to be among those I used to think were opressed till I knew the truth Alhamdullah(all thanks be to God)
She said his wife because maybe some new muslims don't know her..but there are no muslims who don't know the prophet they believe in right?...just like in Christianity if my chrisran friend was telling me about marie she would probably say the mother of the prophet because I may not know her...that doesn't mean she's not so awesome it's just away to tell someone who may not know a person who they are
When ppl like you don't believe in God you start speaking nonsense you think religion is oppressing thats why ppl like you have lost purpose of your life. Once you start to question God you are lost. Everything was and is God everything is about God and to be Honest like i dont understand ppl who dont believe in God. That's why in the Quran it says when the end is here They will come to know(non believer's).
