Nice video. Tom Rosenbauer makes the Beaverkill sound so tough and technical and you made it look easy😂. I’ve never caught anything on a copper John . If there is an anti-confidence fly for me that’s it. But I may have to try one again after that slaying..
Thanks, the Delaware is definitely more technical in my opinion. For the most part the beaverkill is stocked fish and they seem to be more willing to take what your throwing at them. Yes the copper John is my go to for browns and I have a few files that I don't fish well that other guys swear by it's funny how that works but fishing a fly with confidence is huge so hopefully you can get those coppers working for you.
Nice video great times with friends is that stream artificial only do you ever see people using spinners. Can't wait for number 2. Any 18 mile smallie videos coming
There are sections that are artificial and no kill only and in the other sections that are open to use anything I have seen all different tackle used. Sadly I haven't made it out smallie fishing yet this year still hoping to get at least one day after them but just have to find the time. Thanks for watching

He's just trying to limit the competition.
You tempt this old guy to give a road trip try for the Catskills one of these days. Maybe, just maybe.
It's a 100% worth it for just the sececry alone and the fishing is amazing also. There are plenty of easy access spots right off the road also
My dad and I are from NC. We're heading to Roscoe in May to fish for a few days
Good luck, plenty of great water throughout that area! You won't be disappointed.
The beaverkill is a beautiful river. 👍
Yes it definitely is!
