Yes I remember you. I hope you enjoyed the video. I've been looking around for that screen tent, I don't think the company is still around. I just uploaded Little pond camp as well as Mongaup Pond and Woodland Valley . I made a site tour of each campground to assist folks in choosing a site. I appreciate you taking the time to leave a message. I hope you enjoy the holidays. ~ John

I like the name of the campground. Did it have a lot of beavers at one time? Also I like the road safety advise at 0:37 "dont speed kids" well done JCharles!

Beaverkill campground is named after the creek that is built on. I'm sure that there are still beavers living in it. The term "kill" is a Dutch term meaning creek or stream. I believe many of the names you'll find in the Catskill mountains, and the greater New York area, often come from early colonization by the Dutch. I wish people would slow down when driving on country roads with limited visibility not just for the animals but for the humans who may be riding bicycles or walking down the highway. Thank you so much for watching

Question, how do the rv’s get into the camp with 6 foot 6 clearance on the bridge? We camp in Roscoe on the Beaverkill, love it up there!

Please take this as honest constructive feedback. When walking, you really need to use more image stabilization, or maybe it's the fast panning. I actually get motion sick trying to watch this. I really want to watch it, but can't. I'm certainly not the only one. Usually it's just carnival rides I can't do. Maybe I just need to take some Dramamine to watch. lol - peace! hope this helps you a little.

Thank you for the constructive feedback. I truly appreciate it and I have noticed this in certain situations mostly when I'm trying to be inconspicuous with the camera equipment I've considered getting a gimble but most people react negatively to camera equipment so I try to keep as low- profile as possible. Many of the upsetting shots were done with a lot of zoom in postproduction again as not to disturb these men fishing in the beaver kill many of them are retired police officers who get upset when they see cameras on them I completely understand their reaction. I'm considering investing in a zoom video camera this would solve this problem, because I'll be able to shoot from a distance on a tripod. I won't be able to use this in all situations, especially walking shots. My recommendation would be to try watching again and skip past some of the walking and driving scenes or just avert your eyes to the right left for the few seconds that the camera is zooming in while moving I believe the rest of the content is worth watching, and I don't regret being careful to not upset our first responders while they're trying to relax, they've been through a lot in their line of work and I wouldn't wanna make their lives any more difficult. I am raising funds now to improve camera equipment. I appreciate you taking time to watch and comment.
