Fits well into my space, I painted the back green. It's very easy to customize just the back if that's something you want to do. I would suggest sanding it first before painting, I got a little impatient. This looks great. How many bookshelves did you use? And what did you use to fill in the walls gaps as well as the gaps near the ceiling please? Also did you attach it to the wall/floor?
Consider using molding to hide the unevenness. Most all walls and ceilings are uneven even in newer homes. Older homes can have more imperfections but they can be dealt with in all projects.
