OMG i live close by from the action you were at. I really wanted to come to the action but wasn't able. I'm a huge fan and i love your horses and video!
@@junebyrne4491 most farriers won’t take on large draft horses (like the huge ones over 17hh) because they are to hard on their bodies and some of them require stocks to trim. This is common.
The great thing about these auctions is that these horses are being bought by people that want them and are prepared to pay the price. Hopefully they will have a long forever home with the owners. 🐴💜🐴💜🇦🇺🇦🇺
My 2nd horse was a draft mix. Got her in '72 for $50 at auction. She was part of a bucking string that refused to buck. Sweetest thing ever. Drafts hold a sweet spot in my heart to this day. Would love another one. 541 was gorgeous as were a couple of the all white ones. White would do much better in our desert heat.

As a former horse owner I love horses and been to auction a few times . But I respect the way you go to these auctions knowing what you want. It takes a tough decision to leave with nothing knowing there’s one you really like. .But thinking about your business makes me respect you more. . Wishing you success and hope you find what your looking for
I've always been a big fan of the stocky, short horses which leaves much less room to the ground if I were to fall. As always, I absolutely loved going along with you to the auction!
Just love these auction videos, I learn so much by your comments on inspections of the horses. You really need to know about some medical history to buy a good horse. Just love your entire process as you go through each horse & point out all the details of concern. 1 thing I can't understand the auctioneer, it is almost like a foreign language, as he rambling on. So glad you know your stuff, a great businesswomen. You are a rare gem. This is an old video, but I enjoy watching your wonderful quality videos.❤❤❤❤❤😊😊😊
Love going to the auctions with you. You know how to choose a quality horse and that is so interesting. It was so nice meeting your beautiful daughter. So much like you. Better luck at the next auction and don't forget to take us along. Thank you for all the great videos.

Look how long it took to find Mushu!
Love these!! Thanks Shae!! 🤠 Pulling on the ❤️ strings at any auction, and some are worse than others!! I know it's a long drive but sure was nice to see horses that look good and going for good money.
I understand what you are saying about these auction horses. Kinda scary! It’s always interesting to me to listen to you explain why the horse you are looking at would meet your current needs and be a good investment for you. While at an auction those are the ways I learn the most from you. Such good info., as usual. Thanks again. 😊

What I'd like to know is how this sweet woman manages to look so fabulous after 14 hours:) Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me. I appreciate you!
I like the action videos, whether you buy one or not, and I certainly don’t need to be biting my nails any shorter which is exactly what happens when you are bidding 😅!
I used to ride, but, then got my steel knees, and don't any more for fear of either falling or knocking them on wood...but do enjoy going on the trail online with you kyle and others...
I think you are so beautiful and your husband is so sweet and so kind to all the animals. I know he works so hard and he is so smart!! God bless the both of you for many years to come!!
Love the auction videos. Personally, I am glad you didn't get the dapply grey $10k gelding-to me, he looked sore amd he might need some good feet care. I can't wait for more auction videos.
@@freespiritequestrian they take me back...when I was a little girl (4 maybe 5 years old) my dad would take my sister and me to a horse auctions barn his buddy ran. I would sit up on the auctioneer counter while he was auctioning (he was my bestest friend). My sis and I would ride horses into the ring while they were being bid on as well. We loved being at the auction barn. I am so fortunate to have had the childhood I did, as a cowgirl, that most youth just don't experience these days. I thank my dad for giving us that upbringing every chance I get! I hope you are able to continue to do what you are doing as long as you can! I miss it everyday.
I am in love with the dapple gelding, I believe he would do great with beginners to intermediate riders, he's got a good pace and seems to have a pretty smooth trot, the walk is really something, his canter is also quite smooth he'll be good for trails and such. At least from my perspective, for his height and his confo, he looks similar to a mustang x percheron, just based on the way he carries his head. Although he's a really gorgeous find

It may be big as I am 5'5".. But I would still take the chance. Drafts are my weaknesses. My dream horses. I just know you will find the perfect horse for the ranch! It just takes time. Look how long it took to find Mushu!
Yes they were so beautiful! When I find the right horse or horses I’ll know it :).
So much enjoy watching the knowledge you have with the horses. Very impressive!! Thank you again!!!!
So nice of you, thanks!
Love these!! Thanks Shae!! 🤠 Pulling on the ❤️ strings at any auction, and some are worse than others!! I know it's a long drive but sure was nice to see horses that look good and going for good money.
Yes that was the good part and I’m glad I could take all of you along :).
Oh, I love that spotted draft pregnant mayor all the black and white one ha ha that’s gorgeous. Also love the big bay.
Thank you for displaying so many of the sale prices
That gray is a keeper. I hope that you get him. When he moved there is a lot of potential there. I am crossing my fingers. He is sweet and kind.
Just wanted to tell you that I am really enjoying your videos! I’ve never been to an auction, and it’s so exciting!❤️😊
I understand what you are saying about these auction horses. Kinda scary!
It’s always interesting to me to listen to you explain why the horse you are looking at would meet your current needs and be a good investment for you. While at an auction those are the ways I learn the most from you. Such good info., as usual.
Thanks again. 😊
Yes it’s definitely a crazy experience and scary when you do bid and win because you still don’t really know what you get till you bring them home. ❤️
It’s so fun looking at this, having joined the club half way through the story. Essie and Belle chapter 1 xxx

4:50 that big white cream horse was awsome
I like the action videos, whether you buy one or not, and I certainly don’t need to be biting my nails any shorter which is exactly what happens when you are bidding 😅!
I love black horses. Friesians are my favorite. But next I really like the grays. You really need a gray horse.
I have two greys lol. All dapple greys, grey out. He will be white in a few years.
Really liked the dapple grey. And a lot of money so others must have rated him too. Surprised to see such big prices in winter.
Same for winter!
Love an auction. Don't know why, but add the horses and I am sold. Thank you..
I love coming along with you to the auctions Shae, seen some beautiful horses too, fingers crossed for the next auction 🤞🏻, tfs x Julie 🇬🇧

💖
Love the auction videos. Personally, I am glad you didn't get the dapply grey $10k gelding-to me, he looked sore amd he might need some good feet care. I can't wait for more auction videos.
I totally agree ❤️
You should consider feeling for a strong digital pulse in the pastern. It can really help with detecting hoof issues especially laminitis!
I do this as well!
I love your auction vids!
The Grey ❤❤
Love love, love these action videos!
Glad you like them!
Totally agree!
