@@MoonStar-fq6oy Not only is there obvious initial pain when the tails are cut off but the long-term problems are even worse because horses tails are there for a reason... To protect them from biting bugs like flies, mosquitoes, horse flies and the rest. I cannot imagine the distress my horses would go through If they didn't have their tails to help protect them from these biting bugs (They also get fly sprayed everyday during the summer when the bugs are out and they all to wear fly masks to protect their eyes and ears from flies). Just like cutting off dog's tails (So they cannot communicate with other dogs and therefore often get hurt because other dogs misconstrue their intentions), human's mutilate animals for the sake of some twisted version of how they want the animal to look with complete disregard for the consequences which these creatures suffer.
Well they could plait it or tie it up temporarily... farmet musy kerp hos face out of the tails way. Dont mutilate the horse. Tail is there for a purpose.
He`s a beautiful specimen but I`d look for a shire instead. Rarer but always in black and white, and they don`t get their tail mutilated(docked). You get all this, most often bigger with a huge flowing tail reaching the ground. A very very nice shire stallion would cost you under 30k

what a beauty
Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing!❤
Gorgeous horse!
I’m proud to be living in the area he is named after CLYDE SIDE 🏴🏴🏴🏴🏴
That is a fine seal bay stud. Nice to see a Clydesdale other than red bay.

Why would they cut off the beautiful hair? So cruel
As a lifelong equestrian and horse owner, STOP CUTTING THE TAILS OFF THESE POOR ANIMALS! Just so cruel and despicable.
Agree. Cruel. Where are the animal activists? Vets should come oit against this too.
Yes I wondered why they do that it's pretty mean to not keep the tails and put them in pain

Originally done to keep the tail out of the harness and the face of the farmer.

I’m thinking that the stallion would prefer to be out in a pasture with a bunch of mares.
Where is his tail?

@@carolinehops They aren't tied up. They're cut off

Why do they rabbit on so much .
That doesn't look like a Clydesdale.
