After Nils "Dominator" Fjellström left Aeon I thought they will never find a suitable replacement but damn!! Emil is as good as Dominator!...Great footage!

I went to school with this drum machine. He was just as crazy good back then when he was playing with local bands. A joy to listen to and to watch. Really chill guy too.
One minute in and you can see the great form and endurance this guy has. And the drums are cool and interesting! Love it.
Gotta be the sickest death metal album ever. Emil is the most interesting grinding and blasting metal drummer out there. Always keeping you guessing.
Not a fan of this piccolo snare sound but this guy is absolutly incredible ! super tight, power, endurance ! a real machine !

UK. I don't like band's music too much, even exact track is quite not impressing, but this video fucking rocks! Emil's crushing drums through whole song epicly, generally song itself seems to be more classicly brutal and I can't stop watching it!

It's similar to push/pull, but it seems to be moreso of a switch between german and french grip. Every note he switches his hand to the other grip to conserve energy and keep such a tight tempo.

drums are pretty dull (constant doublebass and blasting, other than the triplets in between on the feet, cool variation), but what endurance and power !!! I'm a lazy ass playing doubles and already whining and wincing after a short duration, he's doing singles on the feet for almost the whole song. Legs and arms of Steel !
To be fair, he didn't write any of the drum parts for Aeon, he's just playing what was already written. But yeah, his stamina and tightness is what's incredibly impressive
im sure he wrote the parts for the albums he was a part of after this one though

Randall Reekstin seems like all these drummers do the same thing. Don't get me wrong there good, but I think there's more than just speed.
Adam Contreras It's not just speed. It's relaxed speed, and he's creative, as well as fluid. Insane. May not be for everyone, but this guy sets a new standard.
