Epicenters are for natural sound instruments (acoustic guitar, standup bass, accordion, etc..)you find in Mexican music. They sound like crap if used on digital sound found in majority of other music. I install quite a bit of epicenters here in SE New Mexico
Just installed the same box in my 2022 last month. It sounds great. I did swap out the wooden spacers for metal ones for safety though. Can't wait to see how this build turns out
@TMCS808 i purchased some flat aluminum bar stock from eBay. Some people just stack washers or stack multiple layers of thin metal flats from the hardware store
@cityranchers2325 I got it from Fox Acoustics. I have used a few of their boxes in the past on a 2nd and 3rd gen ram. The cab on our trucks uses parts going to the prior generations. Lots of boxes from 3th gen crew cab will work in our 19'+ hd trucks.
Had the fox box in my Ram 1500 for 8 years with 2- DC audio level 3 12’s only issue I had is the corner of one the pods finally cracked. But looks like they have reinforced them since 2015

Wish you were in my area. Have a 22 3500 MegaCab with the HK 17 speaker system. Needs better speakers, amps and bass.

What are the benefits of doing all this removal and install opposed to the PAC APH CH03 harness mod only that's under the drivers seat?
how can you tell how hard the plastic trim is to figure out what plastic pry bar to use?
