Honestly it depends, if a few HP is worth it to you, then yes there is a difference, if not then no. You won't feel a few HP anyway, but if you keep that same mindset on 10 mods then you have a 20 HP difference and you will notice a huge difference, so...part of a build it could be a consideration, if you are just replacing it and doing stage 1 then not really unless you like the look of an aftermarket AC better than that is a factor as well.
@@TABPerformance I'd prefer the stock simplicity. I've heard you remove a portion of the stock Airbox to make it flow more. I have S&S slip ons, will be as far as I'll go with the bike
Then my opinion is I'd leave it with KN but up to you of course. The upgrade will show up on a dyno chart, but not anything significant by itself in my opinion.
@@TABPerformance Thanks, If it can't be felt by myself while riding then I think it will be fine. Have you had much experience with the S&S mufflers? I was running a very open pipe before (emgo tapered style) and I've noticed a drop in power. Stock tune on both pipe setups.
I would say if you would like to discuss that it would be better to call our techline so we can determine what your full setup is and what you are looking for better. They are there to help 402-413-5090 but S&S makes a good muffler, it may not be the right selection for what you are looking for and we can likely help, but their mufflers are good in general.
Great job showing and telling
Do I gotta get it recalibrate after I install it
It is recommended
Is there much of a difference in flow between putting in the K&N or something like an S&S filter setup?
