There was even a moment during the quest where Red says to KO "what are you, some kind of social media cupid?" after he suggests that she and Enid should "social media" each other. Also the "X" wasn't in regards to Twxtter, it's quite literally Rad's last name/initial bc he's an alien from Planet X. His full name is literally "Radicles X". I don't think that a Sonic game appeared on stream but do not fret, I can confirm that Sonic is woke. There are pro-environmentalism themes (you stop Eggman from harming little animals), capable women on the front lines (ex: Amy or Blaze), DEI hires (Knuckles), lesbians (Tangle and Whisper, who are cannon), and more. The only Sonic games that are not woke are Sonic Shuffle and Dream Team, since the characters are in dream worlds in those games. Edit: Also Eggman is considerate of Sage's pronouns in Frontiers and Barry from The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog is nonbinary.

Btw, they worded it weirdly in the summary but Hollow Knight’s Happy Couple achievement is between the Nail Smith (Male) and Nailmaster Sheo (Male) and so going by the achievement name they are a MLM couple. Calling Nail Smith just “a male model” doesn’t really express the same
The Hollow Knight one is so funny to me because not only do they ignore the side quest that centres around a lesbian couple (being vague to not spoil too much but they probably didn't get far enough into the game/were not able to complete the side quest), they also completely misrepresent the relationship between Sheo and the Nailsmith because they're literally a couple, something that was confirmed by the devs. Also the player character and several key figures in the game are agender and use they/them pronouns.

As the Nazar (what the item is based on) is very much not of Christian origin, and so his mother most definitely viewed it as evil. Even in well-meaning folks, media literacy is difficult and sometimes twisty. It's just important to remember to like what you like, and if you truly don't feel insecure about your choice, then chances are you're steadfast in your beliefs and the bigger issue is misconceptions of the media you enjoy. Let's go Scarlet Hollow mention!! I want to say Scarlet Hollow is a FANTASTIC game where you go back a town where your estranged aunt passes away and you find out the mysteries of strange things that are happening in it (The Deer lumps are just the TIP of the iceberg this game gets stranger), the many different paths and choices you can make completely changes your experiences and change the characters around you, the costumiation of your character and how they change your game (including but limited too the ability of talking to animals and being a fucking weirdo(mystic)) and best of all you get to annoy your COUSIN TABITHA (I love annoying her she's so groopy) I also recommend the other games the delopers made, Slay the Princess. It's shorter than Scarlet but it also is very meaty (like I have 50+ hours in that one and that's getting all endings/routes.) I'm actually surprise that game is not on the list at all because it is so much popular than Scarlet Hollow but I know for a fact it is woke because the princess can and will beat your ass in some of the routes and women beating up men is woke.
I'm with Salty on the Kris thing, it bugs the shit out of me. As of Chapter 1, I could ENTERTAIN people reading Kris as a self-insert, but Chapter 2 makes it more than clear multiple times that they aren't an avatar.

The character in Steins;Gate is gay, though their arc is handled really poorly handled and pulls from trans ideas. It's more explicit in the visual novel that they don't really care about being a woman, moreso that they want to be desirable by the main character, who is sadly heterosexual. I think you can argue genderfluid at best, since they don't care either way, but it's a poorly aged arc in an otherwise really good game :( For the record, I'm a trans girl and care about rep. I just think calling Luka from S;G trans is definitely actively ignoring the text, though it's an understandable misconception and frankly not text worth defending.

Yugioh and by extension Duel Links has a character named Yubel who is non-binary, their bio in the game is the only one to not use m/f pronouns, and the same in the show when referred to by other characters. In the sub they're voice shifts between masculine and feminine, and even in the 4kids dub when voiced by Cassandra Lee Morris, there is a flashback with them younger having a male VA and they even go out of their way to never call them female. I will not take this slander of our they/them ICON.
regarding Dragon Marked For Death, it's a class-based, mission-based game. the use of they/them is almost certainly for the sake of not rewriting dialogue for each class. unfortunate, i know.

It's funny how they list the reason why OK KO Let's Play Heroes is "woke" because of a tweet by one of the crew members describing Rad as "pretty fluid" in regards to what his sexuality was (he's not confirmed genderfluid per se, the post was a response to someone asking if Rad was straight or something else since the show touched on Enid being bi-), when the game itself LITERALLY has a quest where KO has to help Enid get Red Action (the pink-haired lesbian girl who's her crush and later became her gf in the show) to notice and like her posts. There was even a moment during the quest where Red says to KO "what are you, some kind of social media cupid?" after he suggests that she and Enid should "social media" each other.
Also the "X" wasn't in regards to Twxtter, it's quite literally Rad's last name/initial bc he's an alien from Planet X. His full name is literally "Radicles X".

I don't think that a Sonic game appeared on stream but do not fret, I can confirm that Sonic is woke. There are pro-environmentalism themes (you stop Eggman from harming little animals), capable women on the front lines (ex: Amy or Blaze), DEI hires (Knuckles), lesbians (Tangle and Whisper, who are cannon), and more. The only Sonic games that are not woke are Sonic Shuffle and Dream Team, since the characters are in dream worlds in those games.
Edit: Also Eggman is considerate of Sage's pronouns in Frontiers and Barry from The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog is nonbinary.

The Hollow Knight one is so funny to me because not only do they ignore the side quest that centres around a lesbian couple (being vague to not spoil too much but they probably didn't get far enough into the game/were not able to complete the side quest), they also completely misrepresent the relationship between Sheo and the Nailsmith because they're literally a couple, something that was confirmed by the devs. Also the player character and several key figures in the game are agender and use they/them pronouns.

With the racism thing im just genuinely confused i have played the game for thousands of hours and i dont recognize a single instance of it? The one guess I could maybe have is one item being cupids arrow? But this is a game that /mostly/ takes place within the mind of isaac, a kid who definitely has little to no concept of other cultures because of how he was raised, proven by other items like 'evil charm' which he most likely learned from his mother. Let's go Scarlet Hollow mention!! I want to say Scarlet Hollow is a FANTASTIC game where you go back a town where your estranged aunt passes away and you find out the mysteries of strange things that are happening in it (The Deer lumps are just the TIP of the iceberg this game gets stranger), the many different paths and choices you can make completely changes your experiences and change the characters around you, the costumiation of your character and how they change your game (including but limited too the ability of talking to animals and being a fucking weirdo(mystic)) and best of all you get to annoy your COUSIN TABITHA (I love annoying her she's so groopy)
I also recommend the other games the delopers made, Slay the Princess. It's shorter than Scarlet but it also is very meaty (like I have 50+ hours in that one and that's getting all endings/routes.) I'm actually surprise that game is not on the list at all because it is so much popular than Scarlet Hollow but I know for a fact it is woke because the princess can and will beat your ass in some of the routes and women beating up men is woke.

The character in Steins;Gate is gay, though their arc is handled really poorly handled and pulls from trans ideas. It's more explicit in the visual novel that they don't really care about being a woman, moreso that they want to be desirable by the main character, who is sadly heterosexual. I think you can argue genderfluid at best, since they don't care either way, but it's a poorly aged arc in an otherwise really good game :(

Yugioh and by extension Duel Links has a character named Yubel who is non-binary, their bio in the game is the only one to not use m/f pronouns, and the same in the show when referred to by other characters. In the sub they're voice shifts between masculine and feminine, and even in the 4kids dub when voiced by Cassandra Lee Morris, there is a flashback with them younger having a male VA and they even go out of their way to never call them female. I will not take this slander of our they/them ICON.
